Found something cool with our alarm =O!!

My brother just told me you can send alarm frequencies through the phone!! Iono if you guys know, but its definitely news flash for me and my friend lol.

What ya do is have someone far away from the car, with a cell phone and the car remote. Have the other person on the phone, and you standing near the vehicle. Now have your friend press any button on the remote near his phone, and your phone speaker being really near the vehicle, and your car should respond to the remote even though its really far away.

tested this on a nissan240 and our TL, works 100%! our range wasnt that far away. me and my friend was on the driveway, while my brother in the house. he pressed the remote in the house but no go. but with the phone method it worked~

it doesnt work though when we tried to record it, using our phone as a car alarm lol. cool trick either way, incase for some weird reason you left your keys in the car, but your wifey or whoever have a spare.

if uve never heard of this yet, and curious, give it a shot!

well if you think that's cool....try walking away from your TL and see how far your transmitter works...when you see that the signal wont reach your vehicle....place the transmitter under your chin, open your mouth and your body will act as an antenna and your signal will reach the car....

lol what are you talkin bout? both ways actually work, the phone AND the under your chin stuff. your body really does act like an antenna, try it. stand where you get no signal pressin lock. then drop your chin and point the reciever up into it, under it.

I've tried it and it works. One thing is that the signal makes your dental work tingle...

gives me an idea to invite a cell phone with car remote on it. who cares about touchscreen and camera megapixel!

(disclaimer: if you lose your phone, you'll lose your car)

I think it was funny when Cari was holding the phone up to the actual door lock...like if the reciever for the remote signal was in there.
