Thumbs up Found A Nice Surprise!

While doing the suspension upgrades to my car yesterday, I saw something.... different. After further inspection and making sure I was seeing clearly, I found that the previous owner to the vehicle had installed an XLR8 J-Pipe and a test pipe. I reckon I'm due for a cat-back next.

Nothing like finding mods that you didn't know you already had

I, too, would much rather find a million in the glove box than some piping underneath the car lol

i dont think its a nice surprise...that just means theres less mods for u to do to make your car faster lol. think of it this way, basically a stock TL is slightly slower than what you originally thought because you used to think your car didnt have those mods. its all psychological and how you look at it you know?

Man I was wondering what that whining noise was until I found out, "Hey! That's not a furnace! It's a supercharger! 2 years later"

I dunno. I'd be a little annoyed. Cool to have the pipe, but I usually make sure I'm buying a stock car. You start finding mods and you never know what hack jobs the PO did on the car. Of course I always ask if its completely stock...

I went to run outside and look under my car to see if I was that lucky. Then I remembered, my car didn't have a previous owner.

Nah man. Its not about the free mods. Its more about when I buy used cars, I buy stock ones since they tend to not be beat on as much or have weird questionable crap going on with them. I once bought a corvette the guy swore was stock only later to find that it had a mid pipe in it, and I'm almost 100% sure a mild cam. Its more about getting lied to that if its "free" or not. Kinda like buying that car "Grandma only drove on sundays" Well, grandma was a dragracer, and sunday was her day at the strip. Something like that. Good for you if its what you want.
