Finally running 11's!

Ok, not in the TL, lol, but the M240i. Finally ditched the JB4 back in May when Pro Tuning Freaks released Bootmod3 for the B58 platform and I haven't looked back! Current mods are BM3 Stage 2 E30 flash, xHP Stage 3 software for the ZF8, ER catless DP, Remus axle back exhaust and BMS intake.

I ran 11.8 @ 118 and 11.9 @ 119 in 65 degree air. In the spring I'm doing a VTT turbo and swapping in a Supra/Z4 high pressure fuel pump, as the pump is currently the limiting factor in making more power. I'm somewhere around 430-440 at the wheels currently on E30 and should hit an easy 550 after the pump/turbo upgrade. Shooting for 10's, but honestly, as long as I trap 125 + I'll be happy.

And yes, the old TL is still in the family and still kicking!

Damn, that thing moves - trap speed is super impressive for light bolt ons.

Hope all is well!

Hey Tyler. All is well, hopefully all is well in your world too! That B5 moves!

Ended up going with a Dorch Stage 1 HPFP over the Supra unit, and then PTF dropped their Stage 2+ "upgraded HPFP E30" map a few days later. They got 475-480 WHP. Definitely feels 40-50 WHP stronger. Actually gonna start a custom E40 tune with Paul Johnson shortly. Should just break 500 WHP on the stock turbo. Shooting for 11.30's.

So I finished up a custom E40 tune with Paul Johnson (F80 Paul). He knocked it out in 4 revisions. Targeting 22-22.5 PSI on the stock turbo. Looks like around 490 WHP, give or take. Dragy is showing 96-97 MPH in the 1/8 and 122-123 in the 1/4. Picking up 25 MPH + on the big end is a MASSIVE improvement over the JB4. I remember thinking the B58 didn't have the potential for long legs, but it does. It's just so damn linear, that it's deceptive. Traction is a serious issue now. Mixed it up with a stock Hellcat Widebody and he got me, but it wasn't a massacre.

Hit the track for Test and Tune and pulled an 11.62 @ 122.2 mph on a 1.90 sixty. DA was around 1700, so all things being equal, I should be able to crack an 11.5x @ 123 when things cool off a bit. This is still on 265/35-18 MPS4S. B58 is an absolute gem. Just imagine a problem free N54 that attains close to 500 WHP with basic bolt ons and has zero issues at 56,000 miles.

It moves pretty good for sure! Was thinking of doing a turbo upgrade, but I'm hanging with stock ZL-1's on the street with no problem, so I'll probably hold off for now. Mixed it up with a new C63 AMG S Coupe and it was dead even to around, well....too fast for public roads.
