Thanks man. lol.
Yessir, it looks great!
I really want one- even before the Di-Noc. Any idea how much they cost?
I'm not too sure how well it'd work on a leather surface- let alone a curved one. A covered Type-S knob might work...hmm.
Haha that's basically me and this entire site. Damn it drains the pockets.
Thank you. You can always wrap the painted grille.
Nope, didn't take apart a single thing. Stuck it right on and cut.
Hmm it's survived rain and some ice, no problems so far. I took it through Mike's Express (a popular, trusted car wash around here that does an awesome job) today and both the front and rear carbon fiber is still stuck down firmly. No problems.
I only take my car through the carwash during winter time.
Nah the lights on the door naturally have a greenish/yellow tint to them. Might've just been the lighting in that picture throwing you off.

First off , +1 For being 16 .
I just saw this , and I want to throw this on my to-do list . But I wonder if it will look right with the Tan interior , Sure hope it does .

Damn I'm loving the steering wheel! I feel that the inside of your car flows together better now. Not that it didn't before, but now it's improved
I need to get that damn front lip on my car
I'm assuming you drive your TL to school. Have you had any problems with people messing with your car? Even though I went to a school with a bunch of more "privileged" kids, my 01 CL-S always had shit poured on it and such.

I'm thinking I'm gonna end up getting a Type-S knob seeing as they don't seem to be too expensive.
Ah yeah I'm thankful for the Ebony interior in my car. I'm not sure how CF would look with camel.
Do it. I love it and so does everyone else who's been in my car.
Yeah some of the cuts were a little bit rough but the other day I went back and trimmed the edges so they look straighter now. I was in a hurry to post pics when I first did it.
Woohoo. I love your color- DGP. Don't see to many of them.
I'd give it a try though. A CF grille on your car would look good also.
I think my interior ties together very well too now. It looks amazing at night with the blue LEDs.
But ah that question is asked often. In short- no I don't have any problems and haven't ever had any. My school starts at 7:50AM and I roll in at about 7:35. School ends at 2:50 and I get to the parking lot right away. So there really isn't any time for people to mess with my car, not that I'm worried about leaving it out there at all. I personally tend to be friendly towards everyone and I get that respect in return. I park in an end spot, next to a curb. My friend who drives a Mustang GT parks to my left, and another friend with a Cobalt SS in my rear. I'm pretty protected and the parking lots have surveillance cameras. Feels damn good coming in/leaving school in a TL. Gets lots of looks.
Its a nice and subtle mod.
Haha I know! I'm impressed with all the positive feedback also. I owe it to you though for mentioning it in another thread.
I'm impressed with the quality of the material. I wonder if they make black vinyl and if it'd look good on my roof. Hmm.

im just wondering...how would this stuff hold up in direct sunlight on a hot summer day? would it start peeling or something? i mean direct sunlight could probly heat up the exterior of a car just as well as a heat gun can. also wonder if road salt and below freezing temps could do something to it.
sorry if this is a noob question. i was thinking of wrapping my B-pillars and grille in this and the car is not garaged so its always gonna be exposed to the elements.

Sorry for the delayed response guys. I popped my hood to inspect how the grille is holding up after about two weeks and it literally is stuck on there. The corners seem to be impossible to peel up after the engine had been running hot for a while. Granted, it was only about 50 degrees here today, I'm still not too nervous about it holding up.
Yessir it does. You can feel the grain/texture. It's pretty high quality stuff.
Refer to my first post.
Yup it does. All you need is a hair dryer/heat gun.
I've taken it through a full-blown carwash and the material still feels like its permanently stuck on there. I'm not nervous about heat. As I've said, I'll just use some 3M adhesive. I have a can of 3M Super 77 spray glue that I can use if I have any issues. So far, nothing is making me nervous. If you're planning on putting that much CF on the outside of your car, I would probably recommend some sort of adhesive just to be safe.
Go for it.
Thank you!
I honestly didn't have much left over at all. Get 8 square feet. You'll definitely use most of it.
For sure.

to answer all the questions about peeling under heat: my friend has an IS, he decided to use this stuff to wrap some covers around the engine bay, of course heat was a proposed problem, so we did an experiment
stuck a piece onto a metal tray, placed it in the ovn at 375 degrees for 50 minutes
result: no peeling whatsoever, still stuck on like originally
part2: put some on some alum foil, put in a bucket of water for 2 days
result: no peeling whatsoever
part3: put some on a kitchen ladle, tested in in some boiling water
result: first five minutes, absolutely no peeling, after a few minutes, it starting wrinkling and peeling
conclusion: unless you like drown this stuff in water WITH extremely high temperatures, its not gonna have any peeling problems
with that said, i wrapped my front grille in it a few weeks ago, i love the quality of the look, resistance against rock chipping, and how subtlely good it looks

^^
Thanks to all the above comments.
Thank you! Where were you thinking? I'm gonna try to do the gray part on the front and rear A-Spec kit next. And maybe if I get a roof spoiler...might do that too.
I got bored a few weeks ago and took some of my scrap Di-Noc and wrapped my keyfob. Took it apart and sprayed the outside part black, then wrapped it in CF. iPhone 3GS=sucky pics. Sorry.

Well those were my ideas too I'm debating the rear spoiler right now.....just not sure on how well it will hold to the rear window. Probably do the rear deck lip that I have too.......I'm gonna wait till I get the product first.
