Experiences with the TL

hey everyone
i drive an 05 g35 coupe right now and ive been eyeing the TL for ahwile now, ive been inside it and all i can say is wow, im actually thinking about trading in for an 05 TL with navi but im not sure where to get the best deals on used TL's and for what price they should be going for, also since the TL is FWD does it take some getting used to from RWD im just wondering if its like a huge jump in handling, i love my g35 to death but it just drinks gas and putting $1400 tires on it every 20k miles isnt gonna do it for me, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I test drove a g35 coupe before I bought the TL a few weeks ago. I really love the power of the g35 and the handling of it. The TL interior is pretty nice. I really wished they used real carbon fiber though hahah. The seats in the g35 are a bit uncomfortable though for me. The bottom bolsters of the seat made my ass hurt! I'm not even fat either! I've been driving the TL for a couple of weeks and i'm getting 21mpg. It's way better gas mileage than my armada, that's for sure The TL is pretty nice and for the price also. I'm going to wait a year or so and get the new redesigned G35 though...

you have to pay to get them installed too because you dont want to break the $200 tire pressure sensors , the lowest i got quoted to change all 4 tires was about $1300 but i ended up going with the dealership instead

All I know is that if you do trade in your G35 you will REALLY miss your Nissan's low-end torque. Not to mention that awesome Nissan patented exhaust sound.

I think you should test drive the TL before you even ask about the price. It may or may not be what you're looking for.

Ditto. You won't get enough increase in MPG or longer tire life to make up for depreciation loss in trading in the G35, either.
There won't be much change in handling day-to-day, unless you drive in snow (TL will be better), on the track (TL will understeer at the limit) or street race on public roads (don't). TL will be quieter inside, with quieter exhaust. The clutch was heavy on the 6M G35, and auto was not as smooth as the TL's.
Oh, and the 05' TLs with Navi will be $28K and up...
