engine rev

doesnt really scare anyone when at a light, so what can be done to improve the sound, besides an exhaust system?

yea try removing resonators, or if you want you can even get a cold air intake, that will definitely give you a beefy rev...

and this is why a 17 yr old should not be driving a car, why the fuck are you reving your car at a red light? especially since you have an auto tranny.

Play nice. I was going to close this thread, but he asked a legitimate question, even though you could question the question if you wanted to, which some of you have done. And not very nicely either.

So I'll leave it open if we can get back on the topic of exhaust noise and off the topic of 17 year olds driving a 3G TL, which seems to enter just about every thread posted by anyone in their teens, even a 15 year old who doesn't even own one yet.

Ah, you are right, Ron. After all, they are only children and maybe we expect too much of them. When I was 17, I was fortunate to have a car, even though it couldn't do over 60 mph. It was kinda noisy, though.

Almost any question here can be legit... But being on this forum now for a number of years they are getting less and less ...well let's say legitimate... now we want to scare people at lights with mom's car...

Not to be rude but:

First - You should save your money and get your own TL instead of driving mommy's car. Actually the TL is not a good first car, try an RSX. It's more affordable, maybe you can talk mom into helping with the payments.

Second - Once you get your own car put an new intake and exhaust system to get a more aggressive sound out of it. And get a killer sound system too

Third - Enjoy it and and go get some girls.

I have a 17 yr old too and I would never let him drive my WDP TL. I know exactly how 17yr old testosrone behaves.

Not one word about the original topic since I posted what I thought was a politely worded and clear request, so
