Steering Wheel

My mode light on my steering wheel blew out so I had the car serviced under warranty to have blub replaced. I get the car back its still daylight so I couldn't notice if the light worked or not. When the sun went down I noticed the mode light was working but guess what, about 7 of my other lights on my steering wheel are off like the voice command buttons, cruise light, etc. I'm like how hard is it to replace a blub. Now I gotta drive all the way back to the dealership for this screwup they made. It just sucks.

Incompetency is growing like a plague in the US.......

The dealership I worked at had a mandatory inspection/"checkride" of all repairs by the specific service advisor... This was usually accomplished well before the customer arrived and/or was notified that their car was ready.

A customer may be ticked if the car isn't ready when estimated but he/she will be more "pi$$ed" if they get all the way home and discover it has yet to be fixed properly. One would think this would not be so hard for dealerships to comprehend/make happen.

Sometimes I think it would be great (after I retire from my current field) to become a Service Manager and "create" a Service Dept that actually did things right. I'm sure I'd be fired within 6 months for being more "customer" oriented than "money" oriented....
