I vote for you to take that cover right off. Mine was always in the way when I wanted to do stuff under the hood.

I tinted my car, next all the plastic under the hood came off. The engine covers look so much better in a printer box imo.

^the covers are there for asthetic reasons. They dont do much else, its perfectly fine to leave them off.

They do probably muffle the engine noise somewhat, but not a great deal. They also make things look a lot cleaner for someone who will never get under the hood themselves to do work.

Haha thanks man! Some local marines do it out of their garage, so I just cleaned and sanded my covers and gave it to them. Cost me $200 for all the covers but that is really cheap for hydro dipping and it came out great. I painted them myself previously but this looks much better than my hack job haha

Steven, I would be terrified of the badges melting off their glue and flying into the radiator fan.

ummmmmm thats awsome!

i wanted to do the wrinkle red like the Integra type R valve cover. probabaly still will eventually

and now i know i can just remove it and drop it at the powder coating spot, Lol i taught the cover had a actual purpose to protect the engine now i know its for looks.
