Ebay Trunk Spoiler...

Wondering if anyone can comment on the quality of this? Seems REALLY cheap for $34. But, for a pre-painted trunk spoiler that is a hell of deal.
I'm just wondering if it is decent quality or absolute junk.

Looks just like the Type S spoiler.

Then again, how much is a new one from Acura?

Its going to be different than the type-s spoiler and look more like the A-spec one. The quality will be hit or miss with those, sometimes they are good and last awhile, while others are crap. I bought mine from thespoilerstore and it still looks like the day I bought it and that was a couple years ago. Its been great as far as quality goes and I know a bunch of others on this forum have purchased from them and had good luck. If you do buy it make sure you keep a good coat of wax on it to protect it.

Lol! For $34 I can't imagine the quality is any good unless they 'fell off a truck' somewhere (stolen). Let us know if you pull the trigger.

My eyes must not be too good, because I can't tell a difference between this and the factory Type S spoiler. I've only seen a few A-Spec cars in my life, so not sure what the difference is.

But, the Ebay link you provided from the SpoilerStore, clearly states it is an unpainted spoiler. Which means it's $84 + cost to have it painted to your color.
The one I had posted was pre-painted for $35. Big difference in price. Thanks for your feedback on this one, but I think the OEM Acura isn't much more (primered, unpainted).
I was looking to avoid paint.

At such a low price point, and as you said yourself, you can't tell the difference, just buy it and try it!!

The factory type-s spoiler is larger than the A-spec one, but they are close in looks. The spoilerstore has ones that are painted for $104, by the way the OEM type-s spoiler is $353. But like others have suggested get the $35 one and let us know how it holds up.

I have the trunk spoiler from eBay installed on my TL and it's held up really well for me so I can't complain about it for the price. It's been a year and a half.

I put the lip on mine. Prepainted, 3M tape already on it.

Compliments all all the time.
