Ceramic Pads? '06 3G 6MT

Hey folks, need some last minute input as really need to put a new set of brakes on my 06 TL today. I've worn mine out. I know a handful of you like the thermo quite ceramic pads. Question is have any of you had problems with your ceramic pads wearing your rotors out too fast? Or can you recommend a set of rotors that compliment the harder pads?
i currently have a set of duramax gold ceramic pads from autozone and the only set of rotors they had. Sitting the in the box still.
I appreciate the input, as always.

Correction: pads are duralast gold and rotors are duralast "whatever's"
only thing i could find on the rotors was non slotted SAE G3000 grey iron

Idk if they make the cmax duralast ceramics now. I bought some 2 years ago and for some reason I remember them changing them or stopped making them. But yeah 2 years later and 20,000 miles still good, practically full pads left. I replaced the semi steel from PO even tho they were at like 60% cuz they felt like they faded when stopping hard and made a lot of dust. The ceramics maybe dont bite as hard but less dust and last a long long time.

sorry I fant answer your q about the rotors. So far mine seem okay. I prefer ceramics, everyone has their own opinion tho. For reference my cmax pads were $65ish.

Wagner MX1049 ThermoQuiets are the ones I use. More than adequate stopping power without all the dusting of the OEM's.
I've got 50K miles on them and they're only down 50%!

Only $24.79 from Rockauto! Best bang for the buck IMHO.

I have Akebono Performance ceramic pads on my TL with the stock rotors and the combination has been great. Pad wear has been minimal, there's no dust, the rotors are fine, and the braking is so much better.

using the akebono performance pads here as well. very happy with the pads and would recommend if you are looking for something more performance oriented. just make sure you get the part number for your car.

had the duramax gold ceramic pads pads before and they are very good for daily driving. i want to say those pads had no brake dust at all but that statement wouldn't be true. there is also free replacements for life on those pads

have not had any problems with pads wearing out rotors

The top of the line CMAX pads have lifetime warranty so once they are worn bring them back to the store for free replacement!

I have Brembo Ceramic Brake pads on my vehicle, barely any brake dust, and great braking capability, but you have to order these. If you need immediately then ThermoQuiets aren't bad.
