too be quite frank, any pad will do you just fine......
if you are just looking to uprade to a ceramic pad, the centrics will be great for you.
IIRC, Centric the brand is the worlds largest leader in aftermarket braking components...( a little googling would have shown you this)

I did some research and some place i read that ceramic brake pads has longer stopping power than OEM although the main advantage is less brake dust and noise, any thoughts on it?
I dont want to compromise on stopping power ?

You can go with a ceramic compound that is more aggressive than stock or less aggressive, choice is yours!

stopping distance relies MORE ON TIRES!!! traction is what stops your car.
so, if you DONT want to compromise stopping power, you'll need to keep your tires in check, ALWAYS
2nd, as stated above, it comes down to the actual compounds of the pad.
if you hate the dust of a carbon based pad, you'll love a ceramic pad.
and guess what?!?! you wont even miss the initial bite of the carbon pad.

again, you have two or have had two race cars, wtf?! (I consider them race cars because they have more power than the average car. and I cant afford them)

just giving you a hard time, as buying a sports car is a manly rite of passage.
and directly translates to pedestrian-commuter type cars.
so, yes...you should upgrade to ceramic if you are tired of the brake dust. But this doesnt necessarily mean you'll suffer worse braking distances..

As JustnSpace said, it comes down to preference. If you're looking for less dust, go with the ceramic setup. If you want better heat dissipation for autocoss/track, or just more performance for the street, we recommend our para-aramid compound Stoptech package.
