Ebay roof spoiler
hey has anyone been able to find the ebay/jdm roof spoiler on ebay. All that I can find on there for the past two days is the Sarona roof spoiler and its like 280 shipped and unpainted way to much for my blood. If someone finds it please post a link.

Sarona roof spoiler looks the nicest but like Cdat its way out of my range for price. Alot of the users here say that as long as its 45" across it should be able to fit across the roof... I was thinking about gettign a fake CF spoiler and installing that and if it looks whack, i would just paint it WDP to match...but I been lazy in my searches.

How about this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245
And here's the M3 one:

I don't know about you, but I'd feel weird about putting that $4.99 spoiler on my car...with tape.

hey cdat did you ever find your roof spoiler...i got mine on ebay from built4race...but i gotta tell you the fitment is kind of off...so i'm lookin' to sell mine if i can find a buyer because i like the sorona roof spoiler, quality wise is a lot better...it's well worth the money for me...anyways there's hardly any TL parts out there so we're all gonna be buying from the same sellers...good luck

^^^it hasn't come in yet but I have read on a thread that the sorona also has fitment issuses. I think JPTL had to shave his down with a special tool. turned out great but I don't see myself paying 270 for a roof spoiler when I'm in the market for an aspec front lip. Maybe this winter if I'm making the money I hope to be makin. Marine Corps. pay kinda sux when you gotta pay mortgage.

I have a carbon fiber spoiler that is not as small as the normal "M3 replica" ones but not as big as the Sarona. It is on an old thread somewhere. I think it looks just right and I paid only $30 shipped!! Guys, sorry it's just a roof spoiler, IMO I can't justify spending $300+ painted for it. That's nearly half the cost of my whole A-Spec kit lol.. That being said jpt, u got the best roof spoiler on this site hands down!
I haven't seen anyone else with the same roof spoiler as mine yet. The vendor I bought from stopped selling a month after I bought mine. I know others have still been looking for it, I got a lot of questions about it and questions of where to get it. I know it's gotta be out there, hopefully someone will track down a place that sells it.

$300 on a roof spoiler to me is the same as $260 on a front spoiler or $300 on a-spec side skirts or $260 on a rear spoiler. to me its worth it. its gonna be a piece or part of the body that completes the look of the ride. it's either gonna look really good! like it came from the factory like that, or it's gonna stick out like a sore thumb and look like some cheap $30 ebay piece of plastic that doesn't belong on the car and doesn't fit right. so far i haven't seen an ebay spoiler that looks like it fits the tl very well.
i guess what im saying is, if it's not gonna fit or look right, i would not put one at all.

^^^ Good point. I just need a better job I guess. Maybe later. Until then I will serch for a front lip first, then think about the sorona spoiler.

never mind...i see it now...looks really good ...you are the first with the carbon fiber roof spoiler...i was actually debating on buying cf roof spoiler or the sarona roof spoiler...i might be leaning towards cf because in the future i i wanted to buy cf hood as well...i have an '08 WDP TL-S...i think it would look good with the smoked out headlight/taillight that the type s come with...hhmmm...now you've got me thinking...thanx for posting up pics

Repost in case you can't see it, I dunno what happened.
I was the 1st to do the CF spoiler. It fits absolutely perfect, all the way to the edges. I actually had to wedge it in and there is no gap.
The Sarona spoiler was not available back when I got mine. I know mine is smaller than the Sarona but IMO it looks better a bit smaller. But at least it is not as thin as the other M3 replica spoilers. Saving all that loot makes sense to me too. I wish I had that kind of budget for my car.
I also wondered if it would look good or whether the CF would look fake. I thought I would take a chance instead of buying a black one and painting it. (the painting would cost more than the $30 spoiler!) Then if I didn't like the CF I would paint over that. I found it looked pretty real and was a perfect shade of color for my anthracite, I couldn't ask for better. It would also look good on NBP. A number of other members have tried doing the CF spoiler but I found theirs is always different. It is a thinner model with a different CF pattern that is not as nice. This spoiler also has a nice curve to it unlike the simple universal-looking type. It doesn't look out of place and looks like it was made for the TL.
The problem now is where to source one like mine because I know others want it and I don't have an answer for that.
