Features / Options List

Anyone know where I can get a features / options list for all 3G (04-08) TL's? I'm just curious to see the changes from year to year.

Any idea what the dealer would charge more for the trunk lip spoiler than the front aspec lip?

Also summer tyres versus all-season tyres (the former cost $200 more, I believe).

All-weather floor mats and trunk tray are available. Honda/Acura call these sorts of things "accessories" rather than "options" to distinguish from other automakers (Toyota and BMW spring to mind immediately) who nickel-and-dime you for all sorts of features (I mean, really, when you pay over $30,000 for a car, you shouldn't be dinged an extra $500 for "metallic paint").

so it's not completely unchanged from 04-08. The changes were mostly small and tweaky - new color options, front bumper, stuff like that. Still, I want to know. Maybe I can find it somewhere on the Acura website... i wonder if they keep their old product pages archived somewhere.

I hate ever to send anyone there due to its notorious unreliability, but Wikipedia appears to be fairly accurate on this subject notwithstanding the lack of citations.

(It's not apparent with the new board software, but the word "Wikipedia" above is a link to their TL article.)

good find! It doesn't mention this - on the 2008 (base model), the tail lights are redesigned. Can anyone with an 07 say whether their tails are the same as 04-06, or are they like the 08?

Fixing the search feature = FTW. You can use google, just add "Site:www.acurazine.com " before your search. Not to bring this off the topic, but some things got lost along the way it looks like because i have numerous posts, but google only recognizes like 50 of them.

Is the TL built on the same chassis as the Accord?

Yes. I was initially surprised to see that the TL had 45-profile tires on what I thought was a slightly sportier Accord-based family car with a slightly upgraded engine.

Wow, it seems so much bigger and more roomy than the accord. Is the TSX also built on the accord chassis?

Actually, the TL is on the US-market Accord chassis. There shouldn't be much difference in dimensions- IIRC, all the hard points are the same, although the TL might be slightly wider.

The TSX is a rebadge and trim of the European/Japanese Accord, which was a smaller/more compact car than the US-market Accord.
