eBay headlights with halo

Anyone purchase from this seller before. Think I'll run into any problems with the product?

$725

Why are you buying these do you need 2 brand new head lights?

If you are looking for new ones with the conversion talk to Ack.

I'm sure he will chime in seeing the title of this thread

That should be an easy fix. Just need to open them up and put new butyl in and should be fine unless you have a crack in the housing somewhere. In that case you can also put some JB weld over the crack. Get in touch with JnC or Ack they should be able to fix your issues no problem.

I agree with everyone posting. Do not buy those from eBay. For one they're probably junk and two they're way too expensive.

Not to mention a lot of people have problems with the HALO lights, they burn out very quickly.

I love how all of you randomly shit on the headlights without knowing who sells them.

Those headlights are from a vendor aka Unique Style Racing. I know several people with them, and they love them. Simon will take care of you better then most. He will also probably give you a BETTER deal if you call him.

Well considering he gave no clue as to why he would do it in the 1st post, yes I will shit on it/him for spending $720 for a bulb conversion when he can get it done her for less than $150 I'd assume. Even with his current "leak" being fixed it would still be cheaper than $720.

That is of course assuming nothing is cracked.

Leave the halo's for BMW.. or is that the new thing now? That's still a large chunk of change. I remember the first set of headlights USR sold on eBay.. I purchased them (no halo's) and ended up with condensation a couple months later. Cheaply made but after a few beers and resealing the headlights.. good as new.

I'm with everyone else, mod the factory lights yourself or pay some one to do it.

Acura uses cheap plastic for the TL lights. I see TLs with yellowish headlights everyday.

Are the aftermarket projector lens and bowl combo as good as OEM as far as spread and intensity? Do they even still manufacture OEM headlights for 04-06?

In their description, they say its same as oem. I've asked that question when they first came out, but I haven't gotten an answer. Maybe JnC and or AcK can clarify whether they're OEM TL projectors or an aftermarket replica. I know people are still using ZKW-r clear lenses on those projectors.

not many plastics can withstand up to 8-9 years (04 being the oldest) of UV rays. Name one example of a make with plastic lenses that dont yellow for 7 years without refinishing and i'll be impressed. My dad's BMW surely doesnt last.

the guy's talking about the bi xenon projectors. One of the best on the market from the factory, minus the stock fresnel lens.
