Dumb Question: Heated Mirrors?

Does the new 04 TL have heated mirrors?

All this cold weather got me to wondering.

Thanks.

Yes, the button is next to the mirror adjustment button.

WHAT!?! I have been suffering through a Cleveland winter with a 1/4 inch of ice caked to my TL's mirrors, and didn't even notice the heated mirror switch. I have read the manual cover to cover twice, and still didn't pick this up.

Feeling pretty stupid...but thanks for bringing this up.

I think they should have a special warm weather climate edition where I can get something like vented seats rather than heated mirrors...I don't anticipate getting much use outta those

Wow....

Count me in as one of the "not so observant". I have had about 5 days here in the Dallas area that I could have really used the heated mirrors.
How the heck could I have missed/not seen that little button?? I had to run out in the garage just now to see it....

Thanks for asking the question - and for making some of us feel stupid..

Heated mirrors aren't just good for cold climates. They are good in places of high humidity such as houston. When the mirrrors fog over night, heated mirrors are great.

I believe there is a dealer installed engine block heater available too. I am seriously considering that when I buy. The recent cold spell we had here in New England turns oil into the thickness of peanut butter which must be awful for the engine in the minute or two after starting.
