Driver and passenger side skirts

Just had my car detailed and I think I may be losing my mind... Can someone please confirm that there is a joint/gap in the lower skirt on both sides of the car? Don't recall seeing it before.

There has always been a joint there on all TL's right by the joint between the front and rear doors. You car must have been real dirty before that detail hahaha.

I guess I really never noticed it until I took a good look around the car after the detail.

Ya I have a gap on the passenger side as well only. On my driver's side not so much. Weird...

how much gap do you guys have? i have nearly 1 finger gap on passenger side. probably like 1/2 finger gap on drivers side. i'll go measure later to be sure.

gap on both sides. should be the same. the skirt is 2 pieces. front half comes off sliding forward and rear comes off sliding back wards.

yea i never noticed it as well and it had freaked me out after it snowed and i had to practically park on an ice mound. i thought i had hit my side panels while parking. but i later dismissed it and calmed down
