i just recently bought some new alpine speakers for my 06 tl. my 2 front door panels wont come off. there is a screw that holds some kind of rubber stopper to the door and that screw just turns. i dont know if the window tint guy stripped the screws or there is some kind of trick to it?

 

hahaha the endless screw of death. I hate that screw with a passion. You can actually remove the rubber stopper. The best way of getting that off is to pull the plastic back a bit and jam a thin screwdriver inside to keep the base from turning while you unscrew. Once those came off, they stayed off. I'll put them back on when I sell it.

That one screw can determine whether it takes 5 mins or 30 to open that door...

 

lol i hate the screw as well i just glue the plastic shit down so it doesnt spin anymore lol
