Door Panel Dent
Just had Acura of Orange Park replace my driver’s side door panel.
I have had my TL for about 2 months and dented the top portion of my door panel with my elbow.
I like to drive with my left elbow resting on the top portion of the door panel.
I guess the padding is too soft for this.
Anyone else had this problem?

never stops!
I've that and everytime my service rep at local dealership notes it down while walking around for scratches and dents. I know I'll have it again if I replaced it so I do not. I love resting my elbow there and now it rests well.

Sorry no pictures already replaced the door panel.
Yes, it was replaced under warranty (one time only).
I ask the question because; I have never had any of my current or previous cars with this problem.
Now, I am trying to keep my elbow off the door/window when I drive.
I guess I could drive with a cotton sweatband?

Without seeing the pics, my guess is that this is the same problem we run across with moleskin installs and wrinkling the trim. The difference is that here, the dent is at the top instead of along the bottom of the trim piece.

Not a Blowhole
Our Subaru Outback does this - after a while, the material below the door's leather/vinyl springs back. Sitting in a skewed position is all the rage now, and i used to sit as you do - after having 2 back operations from disc degeneration (when my car got rear-ended on the interstate), my PT girl ( a real cutie I might add) told me that sitting like that is asking for trouble, so now I have a "upright midwestern Lutheran" driving posture. ;

One on the right for me
hmm, i havent noticed any indentation in the door panel. i rest my arm there a lot (as there is an oil mark from my skin) but have not noticed any imperfection. the material seems to be different than on the other cars ive owned. something to keep an eye on.
