Is their a video of the type-s vs. is 350 and I forgot what other car maker. I remember seeing an article but is thier a video of this? TIA guys

 

I have not heard of the Video but a Co worker of mines told me about a track race that they held between (not straight away) the TL-S, IS 350 and the G37. Which the TL-S came in first. But no i havent seen any video

 

There was one of a 6speed TL-S vs IS350 at (what seemed to be a 1/4 or something) some track on youtube, but the vids aren't up anymore. The TL won 2 of the 3 races they had!!

 

Theres a video of an 07 TL with 20s, CAI, and a heavy system in the trunk, beating a VW GLI 2.0T with a CAI. kind of off topic but...

 

I think I know what video you are talking about. Is it the one where there are no staging lights, it's just some dude counting "One, two, three, GO!" Ghetto.

I have two IS250s & started posting a lot in clublexus.com - I've yet to see a true race between the IS350 & a TL-S with lights & just the drivers in stock cars. I've driven both cars, however, & would say the IS350 is the quicker of the two by a small amount.

yeah the video has been removed for a while now. It was kinda getto with the whole "one two three Go!" but it counts! lol

And I don't doubt the IS350 is faster then a 6-speed TL. But if I remember correctly the TL-S had racing slicks? not 100% sure though.

Yeah I think on these sites.... (Streetfire.net) & (Youtube.com) *Check them out, they have alot of good races. I'm sure you've heard of Youtube, but alot of people don't know about Streetfire.net which is just as good.

Yea there is a video, its one of the membors here who has a 07 TLS, TLfourplay is his name...he beat the IS350 2 times I think...

I knew I had to give up a bit when i chose type-s over IS350 .... so it was news to me when told type-s beat a is350 .... i guess this kind of street/track race depends on how good is the driver's skill as well as the cars' perf. level, so not going to be as accurate as some car meg. editor's professional assessment (say same guy driving all diff cars) ....

But I'll be thrilled to see a video showing type-s tame some is350 or g35 ... lol

 

The TL-S in the video vs the IS350 that won twice was white, TLfourplays car is NBP.

I am 100% sure theres only three videos of an IS350 vs a TL-S and the TL does win two of the three runs. Unfortunately the videos aren't up anymore

Sounds about right...and the video of the TL beating the IS 2 out of 3 times was with 2 people in each car & the ghetto 1-2-3-go start. Hardly an objective race.
