Does the 3G TL have one up on the rest of the family?

07 WDP TL Type S
While the infinitis are nice cars, they all blend in with the rest of traffic. I love it that when people from my town meet me, they sometimes say "you're the guy that drives the white acura right?" because the 3g type s really sticks out from the rest of the crowd, even before mods. I often find pedestrians looking back as i pass by them to see what kind of car it was. It really gets a lot of attention.

I went to o'reilly auto to get my battery test 3 days ago. After my battery was done getting tested, as the employee was walking away he complimented me on my car. He said he's seen it driving around town before and always thought to himself about how nice it looked.
I attend UTI and while driving in and out the parking lot before and after school I notice alot of people stare. I've had a few random people come up to me and say "Your the guy that drives the black Acura right?".
The 3G still gets alot of attention even though it came out in 04. But than again, it could be because nearly half of the student body drives scions, civics, volkswagens and other 90's beat up cars with loud ass exhausts (straight pipe, no res or muffler) with no real performance mods. There are a few nice cars though, GTO, WRX/STI/Old school RS Coupe, G35, 350Z, Audi A4. Several Mustangs, but few GTs. I'm the only Acura besides some RSX, Integra, and a old Vigor

Like others here, after I park at work, I *still* turn around and take a glance at my TL, every day and think "what a sweet looking car". And every few months I want to buy Aspec rims, but have never pulled the trigger.
Or some RJ's.
I think the best styling cue is the "ridge" running down the length of the side that incorporates the door handles. That cue has now moved down to the Accord, but doesn't look as good there.

wasn't really trying to bash the 4g's as I said I would def. own a 12 TL from what I have seen.
But SH-AWD and 6MT are enticing to me.
As for now I agree with S Bell. I have seen 1 other 3g non S and 1 4g in a 50k population and no one else has a Type S. I also agree that I find myself taking a double take at my car before I lose eye contact because I really really like the way my car and 3g's in general look.
I also waited a couple years but several less than I thought I would have to, to be able to purchase and own one of these. I have been telling my dad to get a TL since 05 when I first saw one in person working at the Honda dealership.
Now let me see if I can grave dig any more old posts lol.
