Do all the TL's that come w/ navi have the wood grain installed? And why do they come with Michelin's? Any particular reasoning for this?

I have a SSM with navi 2004 TL with carbon fiber trim, not wood...........with ebony leather interior, so maybe it depends on the interior color, cause light leather wouldnt look right with black trim I dont think.

on the new TLs only the navi models get Michelins, dont know why............cause the base tires suck? I just got a new set of the el42s for free from acura..........I made them do it cause of the bulletin, with new rear bump stops.

The trim is an option. Ive got a 05 navi and mine came with the standard aluminum trim. (personally, i dont like the wood grain. I think the aluminum trim looks better, but that a matter of preference)

Im not 100% sure about the tires. Ive got those tires on mine too, but i think non-navi's get tires that are not as good. (correct me if im wrong)

I believe the type of trim is to do with the color of the interior, Camel and Parchment get wood, Grey and Black get Carbon, nothing to do with Nav or Non Nav

All TLs get the alumunim trim.


Various models / interior colors come with either the wood grain or carbon fiber pieces, depends upon the interior color you select.

My 06 white with parchment and navi (although the navi has nothing to do with it)...came with wood, I like it better than the carbon having driven loaner cars with black/carbon interiors, but that's just my personal preference.

I think it still looks great with both the aluminum and wood in my interior by the way.

What bulletin and what rear bump stops? Can you send me the link? I just bought an '06 non-navi and it came with bridgestones. Is there an issue?

WDP NAVI w/ Woodgrain. Not the full woodgrain though, just the strip across the dash and into the doors. I think there are some other add on peices that you can get on the console and stuff...but mine didnt have those. I guess now that I think of it...the cubby holes and flat area near the shifter and stuff and also woodgrain....but all just the stock stuff you are mentioning.
