Brian, I hear it's easy - try doing a search on TL-S tail lights install. I know there are some posts out there that have the DIY steps. From what I remember you do not have to remove the bumper - maybe loosen it a little so that you can get access to a couple of screws. I'll see if I can locate it but if you do before me let me know

thanks steve; i think i found it. it isn't for the TL-S tail lights but i mean they're the same and the mounting points are probably the same

i hope i can just loosen the bumper, not remove the whole thing.

^^^^^ you really need to remove the rear bumper to access them properly, I supose you could deform it out of the way, but at that point it just pops right off anyway so whats the point

i just installed mine this weekend. i'm the most unhandiest person you guys i know. their are only 2 bolts to remove(by trunk lid), 3 screws by each wheel well. the rest are clamps. becareful with the clamps, they break easily. once the bumper is off, unscrew the 4 screws from the back of the tail lamp. then unscrew the 2 bolts that are attached to the body where the bumper was covering. then pull off the tail lamp. once off, unscrew the L clamp that's attached to the tail lamp(1 screw). then you need to change your leds from old lamps to new ones. it took about 3 hours. i was just being careful not to break anything.

You can't be serious with that attitude - One of the reasons we are all here is to help one another out.

i am dead serious. People are too freaking lazy. then when you go and write instructions for someone, they go and fuck up their car (take the post about the headlights), and eventually blame the person who helped them/write the instructions.

lol. if someone messes up their car, that's on them. everyone here can only give advice. everyone knows themselves and what they are capable of doing as far as installations. if you are getting annoyed cause people aren't using the seach button or they are upset cause an installation didn't go well, then you are taking this forum too serious. no disrespect.
