Go into the 3g TL garage. There is a video on how to remove your rear bumper and all the installation instructions for the rest of the kit. I just did mine and it is really easy.

yea the side skirts are the easiest , the hardest is the rear IMO you have to cut its pretty simple tho

this is only when installing the Type-S rear on non-type S bumpers. Otherwise its 4 holes that need to be drilled that are pre-marked for clips to help hold the lip on.

alcohol is the best, remember to use non lint towels (microfibers) and also to clean the whole area well, (2-3 times) to insure everything like wax, tar, etc is off. Your best bet is to first wash the car and remove heavy soil like road tar, grime, dust, etc. Then follow up with alcohol and then apply kit

X2 That's what i did and i'm happy with the installation. You might wanna add some more 3M tape on front/rear skirts just to make it secure. You don't want your kit looking like this:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...-spec+kit+gaps

I did mine 1 at a time (different days): Sideskirts first, Front second, Rear third (today) ...just take your sweet time and follow instructions to the tee.

What i'd recommend:

1. Change the (or add to) existing OEM tape with 3m tape: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/e-118-how-remove-double-sided-tape-w-ease-714513/
2. Rear skirt - hard part was taking off clips...they had dried dirt in them therefore had a hard time taking them off
3. Using a center punch worked really well for me prior to drilling holes.
4. You can do it by yourself (as i did)...but having an extra hand would be way easier.
5. TAKE YOUR TIME and be patient...it is more rewarding to see your work when you did it properly, and not doing quick shortcuts and messing up, just to finish it up.

Good luck

Actually, it's also for installing the Type-S rear on a Type-S. There are 9 holes that you need to drill and you need to remove the exhaust trim as well as cut the opening around the exhaust (see step 4 in the instructions). I test fit the lip with just the exhaust trim peices removed and things weren't lining up correctly. Cut the openings out as directed and things fell into place.
