Discounts on 2007 TL

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a 2007 TL non-navi within the next month. I just wanted to see what kind of prices everyone was getting. I'm in NC but willing to travel out of state. I've heard that Pohanka in Northern VA is a pretty straightforward dealership and offers discounted pricing. Any feedback that you can provide would be great.

Thanks.

IMHO, get an '04 or '05. You can find one with low miles/factory warranty and save $10-$15K. I was really tempted to get an '07 but I couldn't think of a really good reason to spend the extra. My

If you are stuck on a new one, don't even think of going to Leith... although I bet you already know this.

Let your fingers do the shopping. There are threads here and elsewhere telling you how to contact dealers via email or fax. Edmonds.com has a pretty good forum that discusses prices paid by individuals. Rethink the navi, it rocks.

Read the following thread. It lists the prices everyone paid and where:

For the measly price of $31,500+TTL with 3.9APR/60months I am now able to enjoy the exclusive TL rattle on the rear deck with my bass notes

I have seen the new 07 without navi and I loved the dashboard and how the display is incorporated – with 04-06 (especially 06 since the backgroud is blue) you have to get Navi cause non-Navi screen is hideous. If 07’s were available with 6MT in the base form, I would be driving 07 6MT non-Navi instead of 06 6MT Navi.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm really torn about the navi. I would hardly ever use it but it would be cool to play with. I know resale would be better with it though. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Well, at least I've got about a month to decide.

is the navi different from say the 04 compared to the 07? such as new features/speed updates?

I'm in the middle of considering either a used 04 (keep for 3 years and then get the 09 TL), or just get an 06 IS350 (and keep for 5 years).

Navi will not get you much after few years. Check KBB. A difference on 04 TL 5AT 30k miles with Navi vs. non-Navi is a little over $500, but Navi will cost about $2200-2500 more (assuming that you finance and pay taxes). If you do not have need for it, do not buy it.

That's what I was thinking. On most of my long trips I fly instead of drive, and even when I have driven long distances I never get lost, I just take the scenic route (at least that's what I keep telling myself)

I agree that the Navigation System is a nice to have not a need. It should realy be called an information system because of all the things that it does. Try taking a good look at what it does before you decide just based on price. If the price is not a major concern only. The car is very nice either way.

Don't buy from Pohanka! They are just like every other dealership. I bought my 07 Type S from Karen Radley Acura in Woodbridge, VA and they were very straight forward, no BS for once!
