disable the driver side mirror tilt when in reverse?

Is there any easy way to disable the driver-side mirror from tilting down when the vehicle is shifted into reverse?

Yea, set your mirror adjustment to the right side and the passenger mirror will go down instead. Problem solved

i actually learned this from someone here on the forums who has that whole list of "cool things you didn't know your TL could do". My button was always set in the middle and then i learned you could set it to one side and it would tilt that mirror.

Or visit the 3G Garage thread. I'm sure this topic is addressed in there, although I haven't looked to confirm that statement.

the owner book also contains info specific to the TCS and ABS system computers- how they think and what they do
Some ziners learned it was outthinking them in what the car thought was an emergency on icy freeway. tried to do the fast 4 lane right move-in front of a pickup--when the throttle starting blipping and the brakes were activating where they thought would get better grip...
Its really stuff you want to know before venturing out in the wet, thats for sure
Things like an inside brake will apply if you go into a hard curve too fast~

try the mirror or right side mode and reverse- keeps you off the curb with expensive rims.

The first night I had the car I thought to myself "oh wow, it does the mirror thing in reverse". Then the next day (after adjusting them) I thought I had broke the reverse feature .

As an aside, anyone ever wish they both angled down? As it is, I have the passenger side set then just sit up a bit to see the ground on the driver side.

@chuanger - thanks for the info, worked great! Must have missed that in the manual, and I'm one to post screenshots of the thing when I tell someone an answer
