Difference between 04-06 ASPEC side skirts and 07-08

What is the difference between these side skirts and can either fit on a 04-06 TL? Are the ASPEC side skirts actual bigger height wise then the OEM stock ones? meaning.. will they make the vehicles appearence lower?

thanks

07-08 Type S side skirts NON ASPEC are slightly diff to 04-06 stock side skirts

ASPECS ARE ALL THE SAME (Color is the variance in part numbers only)

Doesn't matter, all 3G TL side skirts should fit perfectly.

Now before I assume, are you talking about the Type-S, or 07/08 base?

fitment wise appearance wise there are 3 different sideskirts

1. 04-08 Base
2. 07-08 S non Aspec (very minor difference)
3. 04-08 Aspec

Yes, but for ALL A-SPEC side skirts, whether they are for the base or Type-S or not, they are all the same.

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say. ALL 04-08 A-Spec side skirts are the same.

There is no preferred model. No matter what TL year (in the third generation 04-08), no matter what TL trim, they are all the same ASPEC side skirts. Besides paint color.

I did not realize that the Type-S non-Aspec had different side skirts than a base model. This might be what the OP is still hung up on.

Anyone have a good photo showing the Type-S skirts and highlighting what makes them different?

OP, it sounds to me like you want Aspec side-skirts -- choice 3 from the list above. These are the same for all years 2004-2008.

This is just going in circles.
To the OP, just order the A-Spec side skirts for your year if you're buying the A-Spec kit.

Stock Type-S side skirt. More of a flare down the middle of it.

Stock BASE TL side skirt. No flare.

A-Spec TL side skirt. Most flare.

Hmm...interesting.

Oh! That reminds me, the aspec sides sit lower than either of the base sides, right?
