Dials/Buttons that light up checklist

I just wanted to confirm what buttons/dials light up when the headlights are on. I need to perform warranty repair on my driverside seat warmer button, as it no longer lights up when my headlights are on. So before I do that I wanted to know if I had any other buttons that are defective; so basically what buttons/dials dont light up?
I know the side mirror button/defroster button doesn't light up, the end call button on the bluetooth doesn't and the cancel/back button for voice recognition doesn't anything else?

Wow, I have an 04 and I had the same bulbs repaired on mine. Both "end" buttons on the steering wheel, left seat heater, sunroof, and the select/reset button on the MID. It was covered under warranty and they had my car for 5 days.

Anyone have pictures of their interior button lights, or can someone post a pic of which buttons should light up? .

I started this thread awhile back to find out what lit up at night ---> LINK

It seems my HFL end & cancel buttons were never lit since I bought the car. Also, my volume button lights blew out. So, I took it into the dealer & the replace all my bulbs, but had to special order most of them. The volome & channel button module had to be replaced because it changed from a green light to an amber light after they fixed it the first time. It was done all under warranty, even a blown out foglight that I had but didn't fix.

dude it looks like your VSA light doesn't light up unless its outside of your picture; plus your end call button and cancel/back voice recognition button looks like they are not lit either

Yeah, I gotta get those things fixed next time I visit the dealership in probably 6 months. I don't really use the VSA, so not as much of a deal.

Can anyone take pics of the VSA and thcall back/cancel button so that we can have it? cheers

Can anyone confirm on a 2004 Navi that when the headlights are on

1. The Hazard Warning triangle lights up (with the Hazard switch itself OFF)?

2. Sunroof switch lights up?

I went in today to get them repaired under warranty, and they came back and told me there are no bulbs for these two switches. I insisted, so they took me out to a 2006 non-navi (there were no other 2004s available at the time) and "proved" they don't light up.

Both the Hazard Warning switch and the Sunroof switch in my 2005 Navi light up when the headlights or parking lights are on. I just ran out to the car and checked.

I'm amazed at the number of switch lights there are inside the interior of the car; it is easier to list what switches do NOT light up!

Great! Now, I'll have to go back there and ask them to verify with a navi. Anyone know about 04?

Thanks guys for bringing this post back....... The MAX button to lower or raise the brightness just blew out --- thanxs for the pic Thorin.

GHANABA: yes both buttons you speak of do light up on my 2004 TL. Maybe you can find a used 2004 TL on the dealers lot to show them.

so i'm trying to figure out what is supposed to light up and what isn't!

apparently a lot of people have issues with their button lights - i thought it was just me.

in addition to my trunk button, the following ones are out on my steering wheel: the volume + and -, the channel + and -, and the back (hang up) button on my HFL.

oh, and i think i read somewhere on here that the light for the side mirror defroster doesn't light up? cause i know mine doesnt

time to call the dealership!

The side mirror defroster button only lights up orange when it is pressed on.
