I was at my BMW dealer today getting some stuff for my other car when I saw this 3G TL pull in. It was a chicks car . What do you guys think of completely debadging the car?

It's one of those little details that no one seems to notice (except you, obviously ), yet can make a huge difference in the overall impression a car makes at first sight.
I kinda like this. Coming from someone who just spent a buttload of money on the HT Black Chrome emblems to RE-badge his car. I guess its an all or nothing thing for me!

 

I don't think i would totally debadge mine...but its def different

 

I like it. Some more pictures of cars that are completely debadged. G35 coupe and F10 5 series.

 

Don't like 'em on any car. IMO having only the company logo on the back is perfect. Too much badging makes the rear look cluttered, zero badges looks like a bad repair job.

I debadged my TL. Took off the "ACURA" & "TL" badges, contemplated on the ACURA logo but in the end it just looks better with the logo.

Although even with the ACURA logo gone, it still looks pretty slick.

 

Kind of look like "MAMA" maybe it's just the lighting.

 

I thought about this briefly. Now that I see it, it's kind of like looking at jeans without any pockets on the back.

leave the acura logo. the only car that can pull of a 100% rear debadge would be the '02-'07 impreza model line. IMHO at least.

Not a big fan of debadging in general, but understand to each his or in this case her own. Absolutely don't like the completely debadged look.

 

Ever since I debadged mines, I've been getting the: "Sweet looking Tsx" .

 

Lol that would piss me off.

IMO remove everything except the acura logo...

 

Dont debadge the TL looks horrible. Makes the back end look plain and like its missing something. Kind of gives the car a generic look if that makes sense.

 

It makes complete sense and I agree with ya, just looks bla.
