Dealer Options

What dealer options (if any)are really worth getting. ( tires, wheel locks, warranty, splash guards, etc... )

IMHO - navigation, splashguards, wheel locks. Tires you can get a better deal aftermarket.

The only option I sprang for was the Navi. I got everything else (splash guards, all season mats, wheel locks, spoiler, A-Spec rims suspension) at least 10%-20% cheaper online.

Navi is a must!!! I also received the splash guards, wheel locks, trunk tray, all season mats, moonroof visor. The only other option i really wanted was the Decklid Spoiler...

Next will be the A-Spec suspension and the 18' rims

I wouldn't get the wheel locks, unless living in a high crime area. Oherwise, the risk of loosing the key is greater

Personally, I'd try to negotiate them into giving them some stuff for free. That's what I did.
They ended up giving me the wheel locks, all season mats, the trunk tray (i think taht's what it's called), and the splash guard.

And as Pinito said, you can get wheels/tires cheaper online.

Oh yea definitely negotiate. Believe it not then only thing that i actually had to pay for myself was the Decklid spoiler. Everything else was added in!!!

Aside from the Navi, which is a DEFINITE must have option, get the deck spoiler and definitely negotiate the wheel locks, all-season mats, trunk tray in the deal. Don't pay for any of that.

i second that. your insurance would cover ur wheels if they got stolen anyways.

i would understand if you had mugen, volk, anything made by ray's engineering(which would include the first 2 i listed) ssr, work, etc. wheels that are like 500 dollars each would make people steal them. very few people go out and steal oem wheels.

Just to clarify, Navi is a factory option, not a dealer option. The rest are dealer options, meaning they are normally installed at the dealer.

I'm curious as to whether large numbers of TL buyers ordered the optional ashtray and cigarette lighter.

I don't smoke and I love the fact that they're building cars without including these items.
