Best way to clean window interior?
My windows are slightly fogged, probably from the out-gassing of the interior in the hot sun. On past cars, I found the best way to get this fog off of them was with a clean, dry cotton towel. It would just rub right off with a little elbow grease. Tonight, I tried this on my TL and found it did not come off easily at all. I then tried some Windex to no avail. I considered some isopropyl alcohol, but that seems a bit drastic.
What is the best way to get this fog off the insides of the windows?
Thanks

I, too, recommend Stoner's Invisible Glass.. particularly for the inside surfaces of your glass. The outside can be cleaned with luke warm water and a little vinegar.
I find that Stoner's does a VERY good job with minimum applications. This is the one you want to use.

One quick question; is this safe to use on tinted windows? Or is it ammonia-based, thus not tint-safe? I was just told to use a damp cloth or the cleaner they gave me (which supposedly prevents scratching as well).

One of the best, and certainly the cheapest, glass and surface cleaners is one part white vinegar to 10 parts distilled water. Use non-clor newspaper as the remover. The print in newspaper actually works as an effective mild abrasive.
Safe, antibacterial, environementally friendly, and cuts through stuff well - otherwise, I use Stoner's glass cleaner, and Stoner's Xenit on really tought glass crud like stickers and things.

Hey Road Rage. I've tried white vinegar and water and found it worked well, but someone told me that it could cause a problem with tinted glass, such as our TLs and virtually any other car on the road today.
Does this have a basis in fact?

I went to a local hardware store looking for Invisible Glass, but they didn't carry it. The clerk recommended this stuff:

I sprayed it onto a clean terry towel and then wiped off the film with no effort. I followed up with a clean, dry microfiber towel, but that was unnecessary. In other words, it worked great! I like the retro packaging, too.
The only downside is the smell of the stuff reminds me of whatever they use to clean hotel rooms. My son (four years old) said it smelled like a restaurant's bathroom. Luckily, the smell dissipated right away.

In terms of a quick fix that I use if the window has annoying streaks and I'm about to drive it (as opposed to a detailed cleaning when the car is parked), I have something called a "No-Fog Mitt" that I picked up somewhere several years back, probably at Trak Auto (which is no longer in business). The purpose of the thing is to wipe the glass to remove fog and to prevent the fog from coming back, but it works well at removing streaks in the short term too. Only thing is that it sometimes leaves streaks of its own, so for cleaning purposes it's really only good when you HAVE to wipe the windshield and you are about to drive or are stopped a light or some such.

i use stoner's invisible glass as well. if you have tinted windows only use water. the bottle is black with a yellow cap. to reduce streaks use a newspaper as Sho N TL mentioned. i use micro fiber towels myself. nothing but micro fiber towels touch my baby
if you're gonna clean your inside, front windshield, spray it on the towel, then wipe. don't spray it on the window or some will land on your dashboard
walmart has a 6 pack of the small ones for like $5 or go to Costco or Sams Club. you should be able to find the 20 pack for about $14. also got 2 beach towel size

What you need is something with a equalized ph level. Use 5 drops of tearless baby soap to 24oz of water. Trust me works great and won't staing dash or door panels in long term use and it will last ya for a long while.
