I live in western Prince William County which is technically NOT in Northern Virginia (thank God).. but you'd never know it.

I leave for work VERY early.. as in 4:45 in the morning and if in my TL, I NEVER use 66. I go through Manassas. Much too anal to put my car at risk with stone chips and such. Traffic in the Gainesville area is getting insane. Good thing there are some bad roads.

I guess this is a good time to also let you know that your "My New TL" is linked to your local hardrive and not an actual URL and your "My Old TL" links to your New TL

WOW! so many TLs in Washington DC

I spent the long Memorial weekend in Washington DC. I could not believe how many TLs were roaming the streets in Washington DC. Everywhere I looked, there was another TL. Coincidentally, I parked my car on the street, around the corner from the hotel, right in front of another Anthracite TL! Funny.

Same thing here in S. C.A....my next door neighbor is 84 years old and he owns a brown 3G TL...couple of houses down a 17 year old girl has a black one. This body style appeals to people of ALL ages. Acura finally said...convervative look no more! Lets mix it up a little and what a great design they ended up with.

I live in Fairfax County and we do indeed have a lot of TLs here. The average household income in Fairfax County is somewhat in excess of $90,000, so I suppose it's not a huge surprise to see a higher percentage of cars that cost over $30,000.

Truly amazing given the average daily speed on the Beltway is under 30 miles an hour.

Be sure to have your navigation data updated before you attempt to drive through DC.

Navi was very helpful in the confusing streets of DC.
Although I did not have to drive once I arrived in DC, I am sure the Navi would have gotten me around without getting lost.

Very, very true. My 04 Navigation disk does not recognize the Chain Bridge (Router 123 ) across the Potmac. I even told my cousin who works at NavTeq, and still nothing.

I live right off of 123 and take it all the way down to 95 by Potomac Mills.. my wife takes it north just into Tysons... There are still roads I pass and drive on around here that do not show up...

Don't waste your money on that right now. The construction at that interchange will not be finished until next year, so any update will quickly be superseded. The same is true seven miles east of there at the Wilson Bridge project (that construction is to continue until 2011).

I visited DC in April and was amazed at how many of them I saw on the road. Here, in upstate NY (Binghamton), TLs are _much_ more rare, fortunately

I feel you on that. I'm originally from the DC area but now live in San Antonio. I have an Anthracite 05 AT. I always knew the DC area was very Acura friendly but it was amazing the sheer number of 3G TLs I saw while I was visiting several weeks ago. Of note I've seen many more TLs in San Antonio lately compared to last year, Acura must be having a banner year with it's TLs and TSXs.

Not many here in Seattle - I'm surprised - I figured once I bought mine I'd see a lot of them but I don't. Way more G35's and of course a ton of BMW's - do those come in any color besides silver?

CL-S here.

I had a 2nd gen TL in front and 3rd gen TL in back of me on my way back from Tyson's this afternoon. I do see sooo many TL's mostly being 3rd gens. Rare is the 2nd gen CL. I like it like that.

It can be a good thing that there are so many in the Northern Virginia area. It's what sold me on the TL.

I actually hadn't really noticed them until I moved here in January... and it wasn't until I saw an A-SPEC on 123 in Vienna that I decided to get one.

There were maybe 2 or 3 third gen TLs that I would see on a regular basis in Dallas, but wow, lots more out here in Towson... 3 people have TLs in my appartment complex, and 3 others at work also have TLs. There are also very many on the road. I see at least one a day on my 6 mile drive to work. I guess the higher income on the East coast means more people can afford TLs.

Yeah I counted 18 in one day, driving from Rockville to DC and then back up to Balimore.

I drove 900 miles in Florida last week and we saw ONE TL near Miami

Yep. I was just noticing it these past few weeks - now that I'm taking a serious look at getting a TL. They are indeed everywhere. I'm in the Towson area too. It kinda disappoints me to see so many. I really like the TL and want to own one. But I don't want to blend in with 10,000 others around here. I'm hoping the 07 distinquishes itself in some way, although I know the appearance change won't be a major one.
