This is true. I know I might get an aspec lip kit but that's it and that probably wont be til next year. I see more black, silver and White TL's than any color and I admit they look clean and like they all sit in garages:P I know mine isn't gonna look like any other. The only person I told my plans to was Kiran( M. King) and that was just last night But yeh there are a butt load of TL's around here. When you get to Mo. County they are as common as Accords. I see more Bimmers and benz up that way or just full blown exotics

Sorry for the poor picture quality (I took this picture with my camera phone) but along with the plethora of Acura's, Mercedes, and BMW's in the DC Metro area, it's always nice to see cars that break the monotony once in a while. This is what I followed on the Dulles Toll Road a couple weeks ago while on the way to Tyson's Corner:

Carrera GT

Here's A Ferrari in an accident on Fairfax County Parkway

I do love seeing some of the exotics around here.... but they are always old people who drive slow..... its always funny to me to blow past a Lotus or a Ferrari in my TL..... eventhough I know they could make me look like I was riding a unicycle, its still nice to do once in awhile...

I tend to see a lot out my way because the Ferrari / Maserati dealership is only 10 min away. I actually saw an orange Lamborghini the other day Oh and as for the Carrera GT driver, he was driving like there was no tomorrow.

I never imagined the Maybach to be special...guess that's because there are 2 or 3 locally and they are driven regularly (the guys who own them live close to me, too), so I see them quite a bit. Ferrari's and Maserati's aren't too rare, either...Lambos, on the other hand...I've seen 2 in 28 years.

I don't keep count of how many TLs I see in the DC area, but mine is one of them. If you saw a black TL with Virginia license plate FLU M2, that was me. More likely than not I was on the horn—traffic's been bad this week.

I don't agree with you. I saw a black one at the Mandarin Oriental when I went to CityZen and I thought it was a very sharp-looking car. From the magazine pictures I think I like the Flying Spur better, although I have not seen one in person.

Not really surprising. Upper Virginia contains the three most vibrant counties in the nation.

Fairfax is the wealthiest county in the country.
Loudoun is the fastest growing county.
Prince William had the highest level of job growth in the nation last year.

Lots of money here.

Meanwhile in DFW....

I have about 3 more months to go, then the teenager gets the old Accord airport car, and my daily 90 min torture session will become pure joy .....

I commute 90 min round trip daily here in Big D, the land of the SUV, I think the state may have officialy designated the GM Yukon the official state vehical.

Other then that it's 3 series as far as the eye can see.

As far as TL's go, I generally see one going in, and one coming out, and I'm looking for them 'cause I can'd decide on the color to order! It's kinda like when the wife was pregant.... suddenly you're keenly aware of others in a similar state

So if you're on 35E between Flower Mound and Addison and a ratty old 93 accord tucks in on your wing for a look see, don't worry, I'm just trying to get through the commute

Dan in Dallas .....

I agree with you, I see them at least a few times each week in the area. I just seen a green one around my moms way hillcrest hgts. I don't think they are ugly. first thing I think of is volkswagon makes them, and I wonder if most of these folk know that they are by them.

I've been seeing a lot of porcshe the 911 type and cayenne's. see bentleys sometimes, I don't see as many TL's like most everybody else say. I see more BMW than TL and I mean all, BMW 2006 7,5, 3 series sometimes 6 series.

I'm starting to see alot more 2006 RL's now

I see more TLs then I can count when I'm in Montgomery Co. Mostly like because of the dealership there. I also see plenty at the Pentagon, oddly they all park at the bottom of the parking lot together -- which I find kind of cute. Otherwise, in Southern MD where I live, the only one I see is the one in my garage when I get home. Lots and lots of SUVs down there tho.

Interestingly enough...a friend of a friend of mine has an orange lamborghini gallardo...lives in reston....i wonder if it was him you saw...

of course, given the number of exotics people see around the dc area...maybe the gallardo is the next TL and there will be one on every corner!

Very likely, athough who knows i guess...unfortunately i'm not close enough with the guy to even go for a ride in the thing and all i've seen are pics but it was a beautiful looking ride...

the friend that is close with him isn't the slightest bit an auto-enthusiast and OFCOURSE (murphy's law) he's been invited to drive it

Debagged means I took off the ACURA and TL emblems on the trunk for that 'clean' look...

Its not hard at all... if you do it yourself... use the wet install directions... also use a hairdryer to heat the plastic... it will make it easier to stretch...
