For tails you have to use a dremel and cut around the housing. It's a very tedious process.

1. Do you have any pics with these murdered out TL-s Tails installed?
2. Excuse my ignorance, but if you paint the bezel (plastic between LED panels) on the base lights, couldn't you make it look something like those?

Think im on to something and wanted to get your input. Have been really studying my taillights (04 Base) and have come to the conclusion that these lights are identical to the 07-08 Base lights with the exception that they have a clear lense, while mine has a red.
If that is the case, im thinking that if you painted the inner bezel on my lights, I would end up with something similar to the ones a few post up on the grey TL (black bezel - 07 Base), but with a red lense over it. Wouldn't happen to have done anything like that before?
Photoshop Experts: any way to give the lights on the Grey TL above a red tinted look?

I haven't done that style although I can piece it together to show you what it would look like. Give me a few days to get a set pieced to show you what it would look like. It basically looks how it is now, but with a darker "outline" bezel.

I put painted [flat and gloss] black bezel under red 04-06 lens before.
It's a very cool look. You'll notice everything is red... and you'll see the bezel show up as a crimson-red-chrome sort of look.

do you have any pics of p1zzamans style but with the bezel painted flat black and another one where it's painted gloss black? Also Ack, do you by any chance do sidemarkers as well? I saw a picture somewhere on here of some side markers that had horizontal lines on the actual black plastic inside, and were cleared out. Not sure if you did them or if it was another member. Thanks in advance.

also, on the sidemarkers, can you make them switchbacks so they blink together with a switchback headlight turn signal bulb? I saw a thread where you can make your own but I know absolutely NOTHING about electrical work and don't wanna fry anything accidentally.

Can you make the sidemarkers blink on/off in sync with the turn signals? Idc too much for the white/amber LED switchback look, I just want all my lights turning on/off at the same time. Also, do you have any pictures of tail lights you have done like p1zzamans^^^ in gloss, satin, and matte black just to compare? Thanks

Yes, I have made the modules for that before.
I have only done that style in matte/satin but they both look the same through glass. I looked at the picture on my other laptop yesterday and it looks the same because of the glare of the outer lens glass. Glossy bezel would look different but I haven't done that style in glossy yet.
