Have these for trade (not exact ones, but same style), mint OEM. $140 plus shipping or $140 and a small fee for me to swap locally. Can only be a TYPE-S headlight trade, nothing else.

FYI: Ack cut my tails open, I did the guts. Thumbs up for him doing the hard part, IMHO.
UPDATE: Though Ack would never come out and say it , he alluded to my brakelight tints being too dark. Well, he was right. $187 later and a PITA fix, and here we have it. So, if he ever recommend NOT tinting certain sections too dark, TRUST HIM.

I say it all the time to check with your local laws and how those ebay all clear tail lights are illegal and even those ebay smoked tails are highly illegal and dim the light like crazy because of how they accomplished the "smoked look". Please don't respond with "well I had them on my car and never got a ticket", because that means nothing. I know people that don't get pulled over and some that get pulled over all the time. I hear stories all the time how switchbacks V1's, the originals (white/amber/white/amber), are illegal and people have gotten tickets for them. They're pictures of the cars in the auctions are mine for both styles so don't judge it on that since thats not even their product!! They paint the whole reflector itself which dims the light like crazy and well if you can put your own product on a car then they are hiding something or afraid people won't buy them because quality isn't there. I am not hating on them for the fact that they came out with this product and are trying to make a quick buck, but I absolutely hate the fact that they are sneaky about putting other peoples pictures on their auctions and telling me they aren't taking it down.

Well it looks like you used a paint with a flake, I use a tint and also tint behind the diffuser to give it a smoked look, but not compromise the lighting. Our brake lights are very powerful so for them to be too dark means its way too much paint or the wrong paint itself. To be honest I like it the way it is now and possibly could have put a small portion of white in there.

AckTL05 did fantastic work on my 06 TL headlights. I wanted the double pair of umnitza halos, so he did that and cleared/blacked them out as well...

Firstly, I'm glad you like these, I think they look great and am extremely happy with them. They went on an '04 SSM. below are 4 pics of them installed, plus one of the headlights installed.
Here is one of the headlights, not a great angle, but it's the only decent one I have. I must add that the headlight on the drivers side is not sealed correctly, and is now full of condensation, enough that the water beads down the plastic on the inside. I'm extremely impressed with the work of Ack, and as you can see above the stuff he did for me is gorgeous (whether you like it or not is a matter of personal taste, the fact that its well done remains constant). However, the light not being sealed is rather frustrating. anyways, here is a pic of the headlight shortly after install.

You could have PM'd me rather then posted like this. I will add that these headlights were sitting for a month because of a money/transaction issue. Nothing against the OP, but they were sealed fine and from them not being installed for a month and then +/- 2 weeks transit time to CANADA and install time condensation probably built up into the headlight from the HID cover/fog cover/ballast cover, you name it. This is a simple fix and could have been fixed in 5 minutes. This will happen with anything that is left alone for over a month sitting. I will PM you now.
