I can't believe it!
UPS delivered my newly cleared headlights today.
A day early on a holiday weekend, UPS FTW!
That means I'll get my car back tonight.
I took a quick peak and they look great.
I'll post a pic after I put them back on.

 

what kind of turn signal bulbs would you guys recommend so i dont have the ugly yellow bulbs showing once i get my headlights?

 

I just installed the 1157 chrome amber bulbs I mentioned earlier in this post.

I've been admiring your work for quite some time. Is it possible to mail some Base TL '08 headlights to be blacked-out? I would like them partially blacked-out as you posted on version 1 with both bezel rings left silver and the fog light opening left chrome where as the turn signal is painted completely black:

Do you have any 05 TL Headlights available for the swapout program? I want to get my headlights cleared. Please tell me how to pay you, etc.

 

Yup, that would be partially blacked out version 1, where I paint everything black beside the silver bezels and the chrome strip across the turn signal. Would you be shipping your headlights to me or do you want to do the trade in program?

I have taken off JCL622, Bearcat94 and Jingy08 from the list, if either of you guys want to get back on the list I'll hold your spot. I know jingy has mentioned that he has roughed up headlights, jingy if you want to send your headlights in I can resurface the lens for you but you would have to send the headlights in.


I am working on Huyster1's blacked out headlights right now and they will be done by tomorrow eve, after that Fiore and so on and so forth, I am still waiting on parts from other people on the list.

 

Your partially blacked-out version 1 description sounds perfect. I would be shipping the headlights to you and parking the car for a bit. How do we work the shipping, timeframes, etc.? Also, do you know of any good links describing how to remove the headlights? I saw one link that required the front bumper to be removed (S-Type).

 

Time frames depend on transit time and that in turn depends on the method you choose to ship headlights to and from me. If I get a set today I can usually ship it the very next day after doing the work.

Here is a DIY on removing the headlights and bumper. If you know your way around a 10 mm socket, flat and Phillips head screwdriver then it should take you an hour or so to remove both the headlights.

Cdan and Usaf, I sent both of you emails and yes labor is $150 plus you take care of shipping charges that I'd endure to send headlights back to you.

Agent0r, I just emailed the vendor for update on your set along with a couple of more that have been paid for, also I did get CF last week but not sure if it was from you or Fiore, I guess it was your CF that came in and not Fiores. I have left Nick(fiore) a message to check when to expect his CF coming in.

 

Lol, yes but his headlights were just plain blacked out so I didnt have to wait for anything to come in . Dont worry you will be taken care of in due time , cant believe summer is already over .

Check with Msala to see where he got the kit from, as far as I know he got it from AACstyle and its the Oracle kit. This kit is VERY hard to install since the rings are a bit larger than the OEM shroud. If you can get the kit then yes we sure can get it done .

Hey JnC just thought i let you know that i just got the lights and will swap them today. I will try to get my lights out to you before friday at the latest!! And they do look great with the replica ZKW etc!!
