Trojanman's headlights will be done with the next couple of days, I am expecting the rest of the sets to be coming in this week as well.
Agent0R-- Your headlights came in today, kindly update me on the situation with CCFLs.
AZNchino16-- Your 06 headlights will be done tomorrow.
Wow those got there 4 days sooner than I thought.
He told me he was going to ship them to you but they're on 10 day backorder. When he told me that I had 8 days left to file a claim so I'm wondering in the back of my head if hes trying to screw me over or not.
So he'll either be sending you a set next week or I'll be getting you another set from somebody else. Let me know

3G First, LED DRLs :)
Well these came out way way way better than I ever thought they would, a lot of work to get them installed and blend them in nicely into the headlights but it all paid off in the end
. I personally would choose these over the CCFLs any given day because they are cheaper and also way more dependable since there is no ballast etc involved. Granted its more work but I'd still get these over the ccfls.
The LED strip is transparent, I had to install these and mask the front part and paint the whole shroud black.
Lights belong to AznChino16
2006 TL headlights
Blacked out V2 (also painted the fog light bulb cover)
ZKW replica swap
LED strip
Some detail

These things are VERY bright

Final product

low exposure pictures to show the brightness

looks really good! i bet that install was a PITA; is there anyway to do both CFFL ring and Led strip? or is there just simply not enough room (not saying i want this, just wondering about possibilities and stuff)

I suggested him to wire these independently i.e. have a separate switch for them, this way you can turn them on whenever you want to and not have to have the low beam or parking lights on in order to make the LEDs work. This can be done by a simple toggle switch but my suggestion is to use a proper wiring harness with a fuse in order to avoid any sort of damage to the LEDs.
JnC, you just had to go and post those pics right before I get to the top of the list huh? hahah now I may have changed my mind! BUT a few questions:
1. how reliable are the LEDs? (long-lasting)
2. how bright are they?
3. price? (including install)
4. have you heard? (the bird is the word)
I think i'm going to take that drive...

I knew this would happen 1. Very, at least more than the CCFLs since there is no ballast involved.
2. VERY, look at the pictures.
3. $48 or something shipped for the LEDs and $25 to have them installed/painted.
4. WERD
I love that show.
Jnc i was wanting to know if there is a diff between the ZKW replica Lens & orginal ones cause i have a chance to get the real ZKW lens but $165 is pricey is it worth it? if so i will be shipping them your way

Link me, let me make sure that they are the real ones. I paid close to 350 when I firs got the real ones
The thing is that there IS an output difference but its not big enough to spend an extra 290
. I'd suggest going with the replicas.

ok, i'll bite...have someone pay YOU for my CCFLs I shipped to you. I neeeed those LEDs!!

you have PM
For all who are interested, we will be working on this install on the weekend pics should be here on Saturday nite. JNC does good work so I'm sure the will look nice.
Halo's are soo gorgeous dude, I love them. A real neck breaker on the street.

Here are pictures of msala's headlights, your halos would be white though instead of being red

JnC, how come no one else has tons of dust in their headlights?
I'm going to be installing 6000k's and switchbacks soon. My plan is to remove both bulbs and spray the shit out of the inside with compressed air. Any other suggestions?? Its really starting to bug me.

^^ Suggestion would be to take them off of the car and uninstall everything off of the headlights and then blow compressed air. I wrap them up real good with shrink wrap before shipping them, not really sure how the dust got in there
