Cup Holder Shenanigans.

Has anybody else had to (for a lack of a better word) "lube" up their cup holders for it to let go of a large size cup? I know that it's meant to hold the cups but damn!!....shouldn't be such a tug of war to get a large McDonald's cup out without flipping the lid or poking a hole in the styrofoam...lol.

I haven't been to a McDonald's in a while so I forget what their large cups look like. Have you considered downgrading to a medium? Probably would fit better in the cup holders.

I use something like one of these as both a trash receptacle and as a cup holder.

Why get a medium when a large is $1?? Doesn't make sense to me. As far as water goes, I keep Voss at all times. Used some Armor All wipes to clean them out and that seems to help.

JD, you can always trim a little of the rubber grippers off with an Xacto knife.

I thought about that too. The wipes seem to help a bit, but if push comes to shove, I may just have to cut them.

The TL hates styrofoam cups. I had to start drinking more water because of the cup holders

Try adding one of the stone auto coasters and see if the cup is lifted a tad, it will come out better. Just an idea....

Only problem I have with the cup holders is that they always remove the sleeve from my Starbucks cups..

I had a feeling you were referring to the Sweet Tea cups and then your second post confirmed it. Completely acceptable tradeoff, though.

Biggest problem I have with the TL cup holders are they are too deep .. I just put a little foam tape around a paint rattle can lid and it lifted everything up just right.,
