Absolutely...
Was hoping to do the install Saturday. It seems that shit weather that chewed up the midwest will be in DC Saturday... Sweet.

Needless to say, I'm all set. First not shitty weekend, I'm on.

CF trim applied tonight in boredom.

All I gotta do is bust the old lights open, swap in the new projectors and guts, seal em up, and wire up the rings.

Here's the CF trim installed. I purchased a set of B-pillar trim covers for a 2007 Nissan Quest off ebay. More than enough CF trim to work for this mod.

WOW!!

Thats some good looking CF. I assume that's real CF, not a simulation.

Can you provide a link to the Ebay seller/item.

Nevermind. Found 'em.

Just search "Make Model Carbon Fiber mimoUSA". Use "Seach Title and Description".

You know I'm above that. It's a fine Blonde Belgian Ale from my very own local brewery, Blue and Gray Brewery in Fredericksburg. Support local Brewery is my motto. I normally drink Pale Ale or Reds. Stouts on special occasions. I like beer, it's what inspires me to do my best work.

So I'm looking for those nay-sayers that said this was gonna be "too-busy"... Look how hot that sh!t is! So pumped to get this installed.

You know Kennedy, I had my lights apart last night to do angel-eyes and have both simulated and real carbon fiber lying around here and I thought.....Hmmmmmmm. Should I? Would look great on my anthracite. I made up my mind to stick with what I had because I loved them like that, goes with my smoked out theme. That CF idea is definitely original, props to you on that and I didn't want to steal your idea. But I was about to.....

Yeah, I'll have no problem stealing it. Just going to be a long time before I do as the new mortgage payment comes first.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery... By all means gents, if I didn't want you stealing an idea, I wouldn't post pics. Go for it, make it better.

This is going to be crazy. As soon as I get home from work I'm def going to go on the 10th page (by then there should be 10 pages due to all of the comments) and comment these ridiculous headlights that you've made.

Sorry for the delay guys. This is a lot of work...

Got up this morning, and reworked the the drivers side headlight. I found in the daylight some sealant had crept through into the housing during resealing, and it I didn't like it.

They're on, and mounted, and the bumper is now on. I'm wiring up the angel eyes after this post.

Anyone know where I can pull switched power under the hood? My angel eyes are gonna be on "all the time", like DRLs.

I would highly suggest wiring your CCFLs independent from parking/low beam. This way you can turn them on whenever you want to have them on rather than having them on all the time or whilst the low beam or parking lights are on. CCFLs loose their intensity over a period of time, I installed a set of Umnitzas on a friends E46 and after a year we had to replace them cause intensity had gone way down due to constant usage.

Now ya tell me... I was worried about that. I am NOT doing this again. I'll direct wire em to the battery with a switch so they can be activated at any time.

It's done... and of course... It's raining.
