I know hardly anything about Acura TL's except I drive one and I love it. I just have what I think must be a stock TL, no nav, not Type S its gray. Its an '05 so it has the 5 star wheels on it. Could someone please take a look at the second pic though, that blue TL and tell me about the side flares, front and rear bumpers and what kind of wheels are on this car? Is this the elusive A Spec body kit and A Spec wheels I hear everyone talking about? I am interested in buying the bumpers and side skirt flare things (the plastic bit under the doors from the front wheel well all the way to the back wheel well) AND those wheels for my car, where can I get this stuff and can I find those wheels in a 17?

I KNOW these are pretty basic questions, but please be gentle. I did search, but as you can imagine, searching "A Spec" on here is like searching for the word "the" and all of the results I have found don't really spell out what I am trying to find out...so I do apologize. I just think this stuff looks awesome and I want to see if its feasible to do these things to my car as well.

Welcome to the forum! There are several vendors on here that supply the full a-spec kit for around $750 shipped, already painted. As far as the a-spec wheels, those are found in an 18" x 8 or 8.5. There are 3 different finishes available (one of which is discont. IIRC), I think it's a black chrome, ebony, spark silver? Check around the Black Market, there are a couple sets of a-spec wheels in there

So short answer then is, yes that's an A Spec kit and A Spec wheels, correct? And thanks on the color choice, I love it, that gray with the black leather is super nice!

Looks great. Is that just a ground effects piece for the front and rear bumpers, or completely new bumpers? I guess for $750 probably just a couple pieces to stick on what already there.

 

The A-Spec kit are just lips that attach to your front and rear bumper. The sides are replace the existing side skirts.

 

dont forget the aspec suspension ... and make sure to get the mt suspension as the car will be lower

it also has the
A-spec Suspension which gives u a 1 inch drop. not very noticeable at all.. id go with Tien Basic or super street coilovers to adjust the hight of ur car as u please
