Clutch with FBO

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone with 04-06 6mt is full bolt on and if they're clutch is holding up. I have a full exhaust with high flow cats, 3.7 mani and TB and PNP lower runners. I can get a couple of good pulls and then the clutch seems to grab alot sooner. Don't know if it's from getting too hot or what. After a few minutes it's grabs normally and clutch grabs just fine under normal driving. I believe it was replace about a year and ago

stock clutch can hold 300 whp, however the symptom you described know as sticky clutch and it usually found on a older clutch (original). If your clutch is new it should be sticky.

i'm pretty much fully bolted on and tuned, I'm still running stock clutch. 4" intake, bored throttle body, ported and polished intake manifold, ported intake runners, intake mani spacer, PCD's (running catless) , rv6 exhaust and tuned.

you might not want to hear this; but the clutch is user self inflicted...meaning the driver can easily mess up the clutch...tear down the clutch and inspect it to see the damage...no one on the internet will be able to tell you whats going on in your specific case until you tear it down and inspect it.

lol it's usually first gear take offs, where people who are unfamiliar with the car end up slipping or burning the clutch

From: New Friggin Jerzy
LUK (the OEM manufacturer of our clutches) tech support recommends replacing the flywheel whenever you do the clutch. Believe me when I tell you, I learned that the hard way.

Only about $216 ('04/5/6) or $176 ('07/8 Type-S) from rockauto.

I had the car for over a year it just started doing it when I went full bolt on, I'm gonna change my clutch fluid since it's pretty dirty and see if that helps.

Good news turns out it was just my clutch fluid, real dirty with sediments inside. Bled it with new fluid and feels a lot better. Gonna drive it and do some hard pulls and do it one more time. Clutch seems to be holding up now 😁
