Clock issue

I have a 2005 TL with the navigation unit. The clock is not auto-updating the way it is supposed to. Further, I can't manually adjust it. When I took it to the dealer, they thought it might be the way the aftermarket iSimple and backup camera were wired in by Car Toys. However, Car Toys says that everything is hooked up properly. Further, this is a new issue that I first noticed with the change to DST in March.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix it?

It's a well known issue.

In summary some programmer screw up and now you need to wait for navi update from Acura. I believe '04-06 cars have different system than newer vehicles, so chances of getting update for ~16 year old car is small.
Of course I might be wrong since I don't follow those threads as I don't have nav, but feel free to at least check the last posts to get idea if anything changed.

At 12:59 PM, disconnect and quickly reconnect the negative battery clamp.

That will cause the clock to set to "1:00" and be accurate until DST ends.

Yeah, go to a salvage yard, find an '07/8 Screen & DVD drive, and install them. Problem solved! Unfortunately, there's no other alternative because if you're going to wait for Acura to come up with a solution, you'll be in your grave long before that ever happens.
