Chrome door trim on NBP

Does anyone have these on an NBP?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...spagenameZWDVW

I think they'd look nice but I want to make sure it won't look ricey before I buy them.

Post pictures if you can.

^ +1. I think it would look better w/o the trim... even tho the trim is so little.

(I hate chromed out cars)

I like mine...They're not even that noticable, just adds some contrast. Not blingy really.

Yeah I like the contract. Plus it matches the chrome A on my grill, and chrome lower grill inserts... and thats where the chrome ends.

Since they are so cheap, I might try them out.

I will say no. One of the reason I like the TL is that they don't have those chrome window trims like the previous gens. The TL has enough chrome in the front and back already, no need to add more.

Cause you know, the first thing that pops into your head when you see this is "cheap":

I don't think they are ricer. I try to stay away from the stick on plastic stuff, but those don't look too bad. I don't think I'd do it, but I think they can look good (ballinfizzle89).

Thanks, finally someone who speaks with logic. I agree, not a big fan of stick on plastic stuff either, but I just got them for some contrast.

Heres the rule of thumb:

If you have a ride set-up like ballinfizzle (where the cleared headlights, white in tail light, contrast with the silver in his axis pentas all blend perfectly with the chrome door handle trim), then you are good to go.

It depends on the car.

A stock TL with chrome door pillars and door handle trims will obv look disgusting.

It depends what exterior modifications you have done to it to match it.

It's all relative!

Chrome pillars is a HUGE no-no in my book.

I'm clearing my headlights soon so we'll see. I'll post pictures after I stick on the door trim and you guys can hate then

I have the chrome trim on the handles and the front grill of my 2006. The door trim hardly gets noticed. The trim on the front grill is way more noticable than the handle trim.

That's what I got... the single strip on the bottom. It's amazing how easy it is to spot my car in a parking lot because of that strip in front!
