I have used both, the car gets better gas mileage with Shell 93 octane though.

Between the two, I use Shell (93 octane, though). Mostly, I fill up with Sunoco or Exxon/Mobil.

Been a Shell 93 guy since 2003. Have had nothing but good results and better fuel economy. I began that relationship with my 2003 Nissan Maxima and never looked back. All I run in my cars and my BMW bike.

Quicktrip, 'cause it's cheap and across the street from my office. Sometimes Texaco, for the same reasons. I seem to get similar mileage from either and never noticed an issue when road tripping and getting gas at random stations. 93 all the way.

Shell 93 V Power only, nothing else. There are no Chevron stations in New England.

Shell 91, I use my companies corporate account. Free gas even though I'm inside sales and not out. Perks of being friends with the boss.

There's no Chevrons that I know of in Jersey or PA, so I use Lukoil 93 octane all the way!! (also because I own one)

76 guy here for 99% of all fill-ups. The only other gas I'll ever get is Chevron.

Highest octane, always, regardless.

When I first got my TL, it was Chevron all the way. When the gas prices got near $3 a tank, I switched to Shell only because there was a Shell station that had gas for at least 10 cents cheaper (plus it was always on the way from LA to the IE). Now that the gas is staying a bit lower, I am swtiching back to Chevron w/ Techron . Oh and always, always, always, premium.

I'm a shell guy. The chevron is too far away. Shell, by FAR, has the best incentives for having a shell card. discounts galore, folks

Theres a shell 93? I've only seen up to 91 where i live. Anyways, does it really make a differencre? i asked a gasoline truck driver and he said he makes the same deliveries to all gas stations. He stated, there isnt much of a difference between brands.

Cheapest 93 (we don't have 91) that's convenient when I need it...this is usually Petro Express or Citgo.

Shell and chevron are my 2 favorite gas stations. As long as one or the other is available, then its all good. If both are available i'll pick the cheaper of the 2. IMO its good to alternate gas types as their detergents will clean up after one another. i.e. deposits left by shell gas will be cleaned by chevron detergents and vice versa.

I have had my TL-S for about 2 months and I use Exxon Mobile 91, haven’t really tried anything else but on my 02 Ranger if I use anything but mobile it doesn’t run the same.

I have never tried Chevron but isn’t the techron stuff supposed to be good for your car?

We don't have Chevron in Canada, or at least not in Quebec so I wouldn't know how it performs. I always fill up with Shell V-Power though.

Don't have chevron in Ontario either but I know they have it in British Columbia. I use either Esso (91 oct) or Sunoco (94 oct)

I use Shell.

I don't like Chevron because it smells like rotten eggs when burning (maybe it has to do with where local Chevron's get their gasoline).

AFAIK, all top tier gasolines are comparable, just look for the TOP TIER standard on/near the pump and you're good to go.

After reading about the way Chevron does business in Nigeria I will never give them another penny. You can check out the transcript of the documentary "Drilling and Killing: Chevron and Nigeria's Oil Dictatorship" here: http://www.informationclearinghouse....rticle4066.htm ..

If I have to go to a shell I do use their 91 V Power or 93 Octane if it's available in some places.
I usually support thesmaller ones like Valero (Diamond Shamrock) or BP.

i used to use Chevron 91 when i had my other cars, but switched to Shell 91 for the TL.

i live in the east bay, CA, where Chevron is headquartered in San Ramon. i think techron is just "good marketing."

the bay area, CA has some higher octane gas at some 76 stations, 100 octane. just gotta kno which ones. =) and if you wanna spend 5 bucks a gallon.
