Exclamation Cars For 2008

I talked to a salesman on Friday about any new cars for 2008 yesterday and he said there were NO NEW CAR LINES OR BIG MODIFICATIONS.

He said the brochures have already come in on the new cars and that there won't be any big changes to the TL like no AWD. The TSX is getting a little change as well as the MDX I think.

Sorry to post this again, but I wanted everyone to know.

Don't listen to salesmen! They just want to put you in an 07, they will say ANYTHING! We all know a new redesign for the TL is coming in 2009 for sure. I can bet you anything, look out for it. The car was just facelifted for 07 so almost as a rule it has to run at least 2 yrs. (Most carmakers follow a 5 yr cycle; 3 yrs after a redesign then a 2 yr facelift cycle. Some carmakers do a 7 yr cycle too) If your salesman knows anything he knows this too. If not, make a bet with the salesman and make some money off him!

As far as I heard, the TSX would be redesigned as a 2009 model and would be released maybe Spring of 2008 AS a 2009 model to get a jump-start on sales. (The early 2008 release time-frame has caused some confusion leading some to think it would be a 2008 model that might be released in 2007.)

The redesigned TL would be a 2009 model released sometime in the fall of 2008.

This is a rumor that I heard though, no confirmation.

What the sales person said seems to be what the rumors are. I think he when he said 2008 he ment model year not actual year. Which is true because as far as we know nothing is changing for the 2008 model year.

The redesign is happening to the TL in 2009

But, if you go to Temple of V-tec they have some spy shots of the TL's cousin, the 2008 Accord. Usually the TL follow alongs the same basic lines as the Accord.

Because the Salesman would tell you the truth so you wait until then and buy from somebody else instead of buying from him now right?

Hate to burst your bubble dude but they are built on the same line and share some of the same components. It's always been that way. Just look at past TL/Accord generations. The basic body dimensions are similar. Just like the Camry and Lexus.

Some TL owners don't want their family/friends to know that. It's the same deal with some ES owners, maybe worse. It's all about image with some people.

whether we admit it or not, TL & Accord share some parts ... but to say that they look alike, that's a bit far stretched ... TL is by far a better looking car with the same kind of reliability of a Accord I hope ...

I know they do, I'm not saying they don't, but to say it looks like it is total

Sorry

looks wise the Camry/ES are way more similar than the TL/Accord.

Sorry I didn't mean to "stir things up" I just wanted to let people know what I heard about whats up. You don't have to believe me.

What I meant was the cars coming out this fall, not the ones next year.
