Carbon Fiber trunk?

Carbon Fiber trunk?

does anyone know it there is a company who makes a carbon fiber trunk for our cars? i looked on ebay and found nothing, and then i looked on here and found nothing as well. i would be interested in one if anybody knows of a company who makes one for the TL that would be some awesome info

I think ATLP was thinking of making a CF trunk but it was going to be big money, I think in the $750 range.

well that sucks. ive got a dent about the size of a quarter and dont wana have my car at a body shop for a week. and a carbon fiber trunk would be perfect fix. what about getting VIS or seibon to make one?

not be be that guy but why????? its a luxury car - spend that money on pre-cats or j-pipe or ur pulley.

People have different needs and different styles. Not all people like the performance aspect. Also an aesthetic ding can be annoying as hell when you see it everyday.

If you do the Carbon Fiber trunk, you've got to do the CF hood and black out the roof-just to get the "full effect".

i would deffinetly do the hood. but the roof....eh im not too sure about that. besides, my car is black anyways.

lol "not that guy" lol. being a luxury car, why would i want to go make it fast? stlye and profile lol. if i was still into modding i would have stayed with my supra and turbo sc300. i did alot of go fast stuff in the past, i want to dip my toe into a new adventure......but the pre cats have crossed my mind lol

Give me about 2 days and I'll post up a pic of how a CF hood looks on a NBP. That' will give you kind of a idea of what a trunk would look like as well

i suppose but make sure u get a reputable company becuase most of my friends with wrx's their trunks dont fit correctly or warp and such.

this is a BIG fear of mine, espically being that it would be so costly. man, why isnt there a bigger after market for our cars?
