Canadian TL'rs....How many Km's are you getting per tank???
To all fellow Canadian AZ members here. I was wondering how kilometers everyone is getting on average per full tank of gas?

I wouldn't really know as one would have to run the tank dry to have an acurate measurement.
Simpler method is to work out the miles per gallon unless litres per hundered kilometers means anything to you - doesn't to me.
Fill the tank run the vehicle for however long you want. Fill it again. Divide the litres taken to fill it by 4.56 to convert to imperial gallons. Multiply the km's driven by .6214 to convert to miles. Divide the gallons into the miles = mpg. On the highway, staying under 120kms, I get bewteen 37 & 40 mpg (Imperial not US) with an AT

380 to 400KM. 06AT, 90% stop & go traffic from home to work. Would get 360 to 380 if I go over 3000rpm shift point 1/3 of the time. Would get 400 if constantly shifting at 2500rpm.
It would be 6 to 10 dollar difference on gas. I say, screw it!!! Just gun the car whenever you want, if you can afford the extra gas it burns!!
What my concern is I don't wanna spend $$ on new tyres now, so I try to avoid sudden acceleration or stop to preserve the tyres. Plus speeding tics are expensive.
Peace.

I'm thinking of taking the TL this weekend from Toronto to New York City. I'll run the trip computer and see what I get. Going to be 8 hours of highway driving. That should be enough to get a good reading.

It's funny that I'm sort of glad that I'm not the only one averaging so little kms on my TL. Driving local almost everytime, I get about 360km to when the trip comp says 0km to empty.
I guess the reason many US TL owners seem to get way more out of a full tank is because they get to drive from a place to another on highways? Just FYI, I got like 700kms on a trip down to and back from WA couple weeks ago.

I felt the same way and that is why I posted this. I was thinking 360kms is kind of low. But again, my driving is 90% in the city causing the stop and go routine. We get decent mileage in the highway but it sucks gas if you are driving in the city everyday.

I get about 450 before the light goes on, and about another 100 clicks after that (reserve).
when i refill, i'd still have about 7 liters in the tank, considering the 64.5 L gas tank.
if i use anything less than 94 octane, i get less milage, so... 94 it is.
this is all city driving.
6spd.

I've only ever FILLED my engine a couple times for road trips. I drove out to Kelowna last summer from Calgary and got over 700 KM's on a tank.
I usually only put $35 in the tank everytime I get gas... force of habit. But I would say I'm getting more than 420/tank on average.

I just returned to Brampton from a trip to Florida. Each tank did better than 600 km running at about 120 kph. The average speed for the entire trip was 114 so not too many delays. I've done this trip several times and have had over 700 km on a tank several times.
Around town though under 400 is more common. I rarely go until the low fuel light comes on so there is still plenty of fuel in the tank.

I haven't ran the tank dry yet, but so far I'd estimate roughly 400 - 450 KMs per tank....mostly city. Once we take a few roadtrips, I'll be able to see how good it is on the highway. Some guys in the US mileage thread are posting 500 miles ++ per tank!!! Don't know how they pull that off!

I was at Parker Place maybe 2 weeks ago!!!
Ever since installing the Greddy Cat Back Exhaust I am averaging 320-330km's only!!! I think I am stepping on the peddle a bit too much!!

I'm getting like 320kms now before i change my knock sensor from a rodent problem, but back then i can get around 350 before the lights come on. Is there something wrong after i change the sensor? or the injectors not push in enough? or there is a air leak from the gasket?

I get about 375km on a full tank...and drive about 90% city
my RPM hardly ever goes above 2 when I accelerate..
I accelerate really slow and I still only get 375km...
and I pump Ultra 94, no intake or anything
how can I get to the 420km mark?

Are any of you using K&N airfilters? If so, can you tell me how many kms you are getting in city driving vs. highway. The reason is that just adding a K&N airfilter, gave me 100 more km on every one of my vehicles I have had in the past.
