yeah you can't compare the two, retail on the tl-s up here is 48.3k

i tried looking for used tl-s to import but didn't find anything close that was decent. plus honda voids the warranty

depends on condition, and i'm not the worlds best negotiator but i would bid 30 to start and max at 32, depends how much you want it. the problem with these cars is they tend to go fast, the last one i inquired about before the one i bought was sold within the week it was listed, and the one i bought was within a week too.

I spoke to a friend who's also a dealer (in Montreal). He said that Acura doesn't really intend on dropping the price for the TLS when the 09 comes out. They're not worried about getting rid of what's left of the TLS cuz the demand is still high. Now, the base TL is a different story. There's gonna be price cuts on those for sure.

Demand for a TLS is still high because the 4th Gen is so ugly. Looks so much like a Camry that people will continue to buy the 3rd Gen body instead!!!

I saw that too, brand new base 08 TL for $42,700 if memory serves me, but they were throwing in navi for free.

Still way more than they pay south of the border. I wonder why Canadian car prices have not come down to reflect our strong dollar? The difference between Canadian and US car prices is still the same as years ago when our dollar was worth only $0.65 US.

Not only the price here is so high, also freight is around $1.800 plus $400 pucks for the air and tires tax plus 13% tax on top .
Up to today Canadian money is about at par to the US dollar.
Look at the MDX made in Canada shipped to US cost less than $800 pucks destination. We have to pay $1.800
