Can I remove this body kit?

Guys I'm in the market for a TL and like everything about this one except the lower body kit. Do you think it is screwed in or applied with tape or some adhesive? How many holes will I have on the body if I remove it. Thanks

Looks like the A-spec kit from the pics. IMHO- keep the kit on it.

Haha, wow, you want it off? It looks bad ass with it on, keep it on, IMO

BUT...if you must, there are bolts and tape as well. It really depends on the way it was installed. In the rear if it was bolted, you'll have 4 visible holes. On the sides, you can switch those out for OEM side skirts. For the front, you can take it off and the holes are underneath which aren't visible. But for front and rear, you're going to have to take the tape off, make sure to get all of it off and wax that area. I suggest Goo-Gone to take it off. Good Luck

there will be holes in the bumpers where to front & rear skirts were drilled in. the side skirts are an easy remove, however, you need the stock ones to replace..

i would follow others advice, and switch bumpers & skirts with a local who has the same color.. hell.. you'll actually turn a profit by doing that!!

X2.

The kit dosen't look that great because of the stock wheels. You need to lower it and/or get 18-20" wheels. The body kit will accent all of that beautifully. If you don't want to spend extra Gs on the car then you could make at least $400 selling it.

It doesn't matter, you can't buy that car anyways. IT'S SOLD. That car was sold 3 weeks ago or so, maybe longer. My buddy was looking at getting a TL too and we called on that one. Those guys still haven't taken it off autotrader....
Sorry to burst your bubble...keep looking you will find one.
Keep the A-Spec kit, the standard TL doesn't look at all sporty without it. I would go as far as to say a standard TL looks plain after seeing one with the kit.
But why is it that you don't like the A-Spec kit? It is made by Acura and factory installed in some cases.

Wouldn't take long for something priced that low, that was an awesome deal. 6spd Navi, NBP, only 40K mi., for $20,000 that's an awesome deal, too good to be true, imo.

DANG sorry to hear it's sold but there are others. I knew everyone would say keep the kit but, as most said, it doesn't look good on the stockers. I actually like the stock TL wheels and body as is....nice smooth no-nonsense shape and I want to keep it that way. My age is showing I guess....
