bzzzzzz... where is it coming from

We have developed a bzzzzzz somewhere, might be near the rearview mirror, might be the dash. Is there a spot on the car that is buzz-prone? I plan to have the dealer check it out at some point.

Sounds familiar

Could it be your Moonroof Wind Deflector?

Here's a thread with the TSB: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ight=deflector

dash, panel, door frame, sun visors, roof, etc...

Maybe. It's call vibration or resonance... I guess... in low RPM or idle, some items may vibrate...

just use your fist to hit around until the noise goes away, when it's gone then you'll know where it was coming from

You might want to check the driver's side door lock, where the alarm led is located. This buzzing sound recently appeared two days ago.

Sometimes we have them both open, sometimes the top one open. We usually have an Altoids can in the upper one... It's a vibration/resonance issue, I have not spent any time yet to narrow it down.

i think the whole 3G platform is a "vibration/resonance issue".

ok, leave those doors open and stuff the pockets with some small clean towels so that they have some slight pressure up against the doors. then see if that "bzzzzzzz" has gone away.

do you also still have those snap-in pen/map holders in the front door pockets? if so take them out to see if they are causing it.
