Bypass rear door sensor?

Hello, I have temporarily removed my rear passenger door panel and my fob won't work and the dash is indicating the door is ajar.
I know it works if I reconnect the wiring and reinstall the door panel. Is there a way to bypass the sensor with the panel removed? Is it as simple as a switch or something i could "tape" over? I couldn't find anything...

Thanks

Why is it "temporarily" removed?

Door "sensor" is basically touching body ground to tell the car that door is open. There is small cover on it and I think either 10mm or 8mm head bolt. Disconnect it and car will no longer detect door open.

I would bet problem with window regulator and he's waiting for new parts to arrive.

tape over the door sensor on the bottom right corner of the frame where the door meets the car. Should be close to where the door latches.

Awesome, thanks. When I first posted I totally missed the sensor on the frame. It was almost too obvious.

Sounds like tape or disconnecting will work!
